Margaritas were good. The food was not.No flavor to the tortilla soup, and it had flour tortilla straps in it, though the menu said corn tortillas.Only 3 tortillas served with a $28 fajita plate that had very little meat. Extra tortillas cost extra money.Had to ask for silverware and napkins and an extra plate. Never got offered water.

Had been wanting to try it for years and finally went on my birthday. Was a little shocked by their prices but the food was good One star is for the 5 hours I spent in the bathroom with food poisoning ON MY BIRTHDAY/HALLOWEEN. Ruined my night.

Limiting the age for my offering from the kids menu as my lunch cost this establishment my business that day and forevermore. Not every patron wants to eat heavily midday; being at work wouldn't afford me the option to refrigerate leftovers. When asked the Server couldn't explain why, simply saying, "No".

Good food, good service, a little pricey for what you are getting, though. Especially true for the drinks. Management might consider turning down the music, as the crowds are loud enough without the extra noise.

This place is a great go-to Mexican restaurant for locals. It's part of a chain with a couple locations but it feels really more like a one-off.The food is excellent. Service could be better. Atmosphere is a little hectic. Great overall!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian section on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs and kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Some roll-in options and outdoor seating available.
Tito the bar tender was awesome, he's a professional who is passionate about what he does, he provides excellent service and makes a good cocktail. We tried a mezcal hibiscus, gauvas and top shelf margarita all tasty and not too sweet and then a naked famous per Tito's recommendation which was really good. I've been here before and the service has been hit or miss the food, good but not amazing but Tito made it an experience. I would have given this place a different rating if Tito hadn't changed my mind. The quesabirria was solid, the crab chimichanga is fake crab so beware gluten free folks and the enchiladas were basic, the beans must come from a can.

I felt like having good tacos tonight, and on a Sunday night, that can be hard to find. El Agavero’s food and service are excellent. Great menu means you can find what you want (in my case, tacos ala carte). Tacos come with salsa and a side of beans. You choose your filling. They were great. Service was outstanding. You’re left feeling like they care about you and want to get your order correct, including making suggestions that enhance your meal.

I had the fajitas, they were well seasoned and cooked. Friends ordered the burrito which was the size of a small child. As was the bowl, so this is a place for those who have a bottomless stomach.Everything was a bit greasy.Large proportions.Pretty typical of an American/Mexican bar/restaurant.Looked like the locals gather there for sports and family dinners so it's a bit loudVegetarian options: They have veggie options for almost everythingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly seating and spaciousness.Parking: It's front side to a small road that only has street side parking. Mostly metered spaces up until 6pm. So practice your parallel parking.
