Terrible Service!!! There has been bad service lately at this restaurant, but this Friday December 29, 2023 around 8pm was the worst service! After a long day of work I was simply tired and went to El Pollo Loco for two meals for my children through the drive thru, it was raining hard and the lady who served constantly put my order on hold apparently she wasn't listening because of the rain, A lot of water was entering into my car and I told her that I would go to the window to give her my order and she replied that SHE WOULD NOT TAKE MY ORDER AT THE WINDOW. Already at the window, the cashier BRENDA refused to take my order with a very rude attitude and without any respect. I asked her to please call a manager (MARICELA) which she was just as rude and laughing with the cashier, saying that she had timer at the window and wouldn't take my order by closing the window in my face. I was the only person at the drive-thru and they still refused. They did not have any name tags on it; I don't know if they give me the correct names when I asked them. We are clients who come at least 3 times a week. I don't know what training is given to them at this location, but simply this is neither correct nor respectful.

The food was ok.... Price is kinda high for just one item but it's good food. Service is no so good or maybe just to "certain" people but I never feel welcome when I go there . And the last time I went they gave me old chips.

I hadn't been to El Pollo Loco in years until last week when I was having severe allergies. I needed a soup and Calavera was closed, so I went to the handy dandy DoorDash app to see what El Pollo Loco had. I still haven't been here physically, but this is where my order came from. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and a side salad. The chicken tortilla soup was pretty darn good for a fast food restaurant. It didn't have all of the additional fixings that you'd get at a restaurant such as fresh cilantro, sliced radishes, lime, etc, but It did what needed to be done. Along with allergy pills this definitely helped me to feel better, so I decided to order again the next night. The next night I ordered the double chicken tostada bowl. I like not having to pay extra for avocado and it already being included in the meal. I hope this never changes. The amount of chicken included is very sufficient and it's a flavorful bowl. I added salsa verde to mine. After another good experience, I decided to order AGAIN for the third night in a row. On the third night I ordered the double chicken burrito bowl. I hope that's what it's called but if not, I know you catch my drift. I'm just going to lay it all out on the table and say El Pollo Loco has better burrito bowls than Chipotle. You know how the bowl is customizable at Chipotle and you can ask for extras of this or that? I felt like this bowl came complete. Getting my food delivered from here is also trustworthy. The bag is sealed shut and you have to break it open in order to get the contents of your food. Chips and salsa that come with each meal is plenty. After not having had el pollo loco in years, it'll probably be one of my go to places for quick food, but I think I'll stick to online ordering for the most part.

Absolutely terrible service by the employees the work inside. I waited 25 minutes to find out that they forgot to enter my order. This has never happened before so I am wondering if the employees even care. When I explained what happened they did not even apologize and showed no empathy or even any courtesy. The food was not even of the best quality. I have come here for many years but now I am Not coming back here again.

I decided to walk in after sitting in the drive thru for 15 minutes there was only one car ahead of me I'm not sure what he was ordering but it was taking too long so I decided to walk in thinking service would be quicker. That was not the case in this situation. My son and I waited literally 30 minutes for one burrito and two churros to go. There was only one person ahead of me and they received their food way faster than we did. they order way more than we ordered. I had to ask about my order and the lady looked at me as if she couldn't understand. Burrito and churros were nasty as hell ! Waited all that time for a nasty as burrito and churros smhThe location of this place is horrible ! Prostitute everywhere. There was a prostitute who walked out the bathroom of course barely had any clothes on. I had to cover my sons eyes and tell him not to look. SMH families come here with their kids. Our children shouldn't have to see half dressed women inside a restaurant plus It creates an unsanitized environment.

The food they serve here is amazing. Not only were the employees really nice, but they also served up this amazing meal within 3 minutes of my order. The music and vibe in this restaurant is super relaxing with the music at the right level for my meal. The employees were very kind and even tended to my needs while eating. The employees put their heart into their work of art. I loved this meal and I will return once more to eat the same thing.

This place deserves way more than 5 stars, very clean location and very delicious food. I was assisted today by Evelyn and got a customer VIP card which made me feel very welcomed to the restaurant. I got the chicken avocado burrito which visually alone you could tell was made from fresh ingredients and most importantly, tasted amazing. I can't wait to eat here again!

In seeing all the 5 star reviews, it must have been an off day as my order was disappointing. I ordered the 12 piece fire-grilled chicken and it was extremely dry and overcooked. The salsas were missing from the order which, in my opinion, makes the chicken complete. The corn tortillas and pinto beens were the best part of the meal. The steamed broccoli lacked flavor but was cooked well. I am not a huge fast food fan but my family was craving El Pollo Loco as we were feeling nostalgic for family night dinner with the extended family in So Cal. This, unfortunately, missed the mark for us.
