Great dive venue for music. Have heard some great performances at Eli's. We always enjoy the burger, fries (and tots), and drinks. In our experience, the staff and clientele possess that chill Oakland vibe.
Such a great old school vibe at this venerable blues club in the heart of Oakland. Amazing music with an alternating cast of vocalists and musicians as the night went on. Crowd was a mix of ages and colors and a positive vibe all around. For a break from the tunes there is a vast back yard area with tables and a second bar that has beer and wine. Get liquor from the main bar only. Bartenders were working hard but very friendly. Great time!
Aye, a great divey punk bar in the east bay. Ideal outdoor space, inside there’s a small stage for intimate shows. Metal core is blaring in the background, and there are two stocked pool tables. Drinks are affordable and stiff, and people are just having a great time.Asking with just a cool spot, there is some great food too. Pop up by Lula’s pit was so good!
