First time visiting this restaurant - IG: mobbkitchen. The setup is efficient and designed for takeout only. We had the salmon and shrimp along with the chicken and shrimp. Both came with green beans and alfredo penne pasta, aka mobb pasta. Everything tasted great. The shrimp were big, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Just might be the best shrimp I ever had! The green beans were well seasoned and had bits of pork mixed in. The salmon and chicken were great too. We'll be back for sure.

Okay, need to update this review. For months now it's been under new management and has improved dramatically. With community support, brotha Kenya can continue to be successful. Even tho I'm not a Turkey-day supporter, the man gave out free Thanksgiving plates to the community. Kenya serves up great chicken wing & fish plates (for fans of French fries, the man still peels & cuts his potatoes by hand) and he makes solid oxtail for red meat fans. Yes his popularity & community-centric vibe can sometimes translate to a few too many young-minded knuckleheads hanging around but for one of Oakland's own working his tail off, supporting his community, and continually improving upon his menu, please give this brotha a shot. Talk to him. He's a good dude.

I've been there twice,and it's cool. Sometimes it's busy and so you have to wait longer and it worth it! The two cooks I've talked to are very nice, its cool to waitnd watch the television they have in there,and there is a smoke shop near by to pair the perfection. Thanks for the great vegetarian burger,and tasty sausage, I've still got more visits to go!
This restaurant is my favored. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The team is very cordial and the cooking they serve is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
