Exceptional dining experience and the food was nothing like I have had before, it was awesome! Each course was created with different fresh flavors. I definitely want to return and will recommend to everyone I know. Delicious nut-cheese plate-- their cheese are pate style, and they have surprising flavor combinations that are really rich and lingering. (Macadamia nut cheese with lemon-herb was my favorite.) Excellent service. My entree was slightly blander than expected-- meaning it was great but I had incredibly high expectations-- but the texture was so perfect that it made up for it. (Chickpea crepes with kale-- the kale was a perfect mixture of crisp and soft, and the crepes were toothy and just right.)

If I could give them a hundred stars, I would! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, healthy, and they always offer lots of variety. Even my extremely picky children love The Planted Table. They are also super quick to respond to any questions, comments or concerns you might have. I am so glad I found this service. I truly can't say enough good things.

I absolutely adore this company. I live in SF and have had my meals delivered for the last few months. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Sometimes the meal portions are big enough to stretch to two servings. I really appreciate that I've been exposed to different fruits and veggies that I would have never tried on my own. Planted Table is worth every penny! *Shout out to the delivery company they use.. I've never had an issue with delivery, and getting into and out of my apartment complex can be a little complicated.

The ladies behind planted table deserve a metal. For feeding this very busy hungry momma! For their delicious vegan food! For their sustainable no waste business practice! For the high quality and creative meals they offer every week! I'll stop using exclamation marks now but I'm still very excited here lol. I have been using the service for a month now getting 10 meals a week for lunch and dinner. They again are just super stars everything is so delish, creative, and beautiful i feel like a personal chef packed my meals. They have a great rotating menu every week so if you want something light grab one of their salads if you want something heavier and comforting yet still healthy they gotcha. Im a nursing mom and my hubby has a good appetite so I will be going for the heartier dishes. But we all still need salads in our lives. And theirs are vibrant and exciting. I do wish things could be delivered on mondays but it's not a deal breaker and easy to plan your upcoming week if you get some of the freezer friendly meals and stash them. Everything comes in beautiful reusable glass containers by wed evening in a cooler bag delivered to your door. I did admittedly hesitate for a few months before I started because of the price. But the more meals you buy the cheaper they get. And I look at it this way when I didnt have this service I was spending alot on take out and none of it was healthy. Im saving so much time and energy not cooking and ugh cleaning up. I tried Veestro before a frozen vegan food service and it was awful just awful. And other services are just plain wasteful with all their packaging. I love that this business is so green, ecofriendly, sustainable, and local. And I'll say it again... delicious! I'm so happy I found PlantedTable! I tried out other delivery services but hated all the plastic packaging. PlantedTable uses entirely reusable packaging. As a bonus, the food is entirely vegan AND tasty vegan. I wasn't particularly vegan before starting the service, but dannnnng, they make it taste good. PlantedTable has made my life much more convenient and healthy. Thumbs up from a working mom!

Highly recommend Planted Table. They were gracious enough to support a recent event we had for over 60 people. Not only was their food great, but Megan is so involved in the business and engaging with customers. This review is probably a little belated as I subscribed to the weekly delivery service for over a year and had to interrupt, now starting again shortly. I truly hope this company NEVER becomes a victim of it's own success because right now, they have nailed it. I'm not even vegetarian, let alone vegan - but I wanted a healthier diet with more plant based protein. I tried two others that were sub par before landing with Planted Table. The owners of this company truly and deeply care about their clients well being. One of the benefits I became aware of after starting, was that they offered at no charge a 30 minute consult with a nutritionist who does not even work for the company. Planted Table contracts with her apparently. She did not push Planted Table, yet was very thoughtful and helpful about my personal diet and how to make improvements for my better health goals. I had a chocolate creme pie jumbled up in delivery one morning, and they immediately replaced it that day - it was lucky they had one extra at the kitchen. That chocolate creme pie by the way, was without a doubt the best I've ever had in my life and I don't know how they manage to do that dairy free. The meals are as if you had a personal chef cooking for you, alone. There are such thoughtful touches in the way they are put together/created. They are also believe in no waste, so everything is delivered in glass containers that you simply rinse and put back in the pack to be picked up with the next delivery. I think everyone must have their favorite dishes that Planted Table makes and it's fortunate that many are available out of the planned meal rotation so you can order them any time! It' takes an overwhelming commitment to customer service, with a passion for what they have created, to make so many people this happy...but it's resulted in a very special sort of meal service company - that just happens to be vegan.

I love this vegan meal delivery service. I recently transitioned to Planted Table from another service. I've researched many meal delivery services and Planted Table is superior to the others because (in no particular order): 1. The food is all vegan 2. Reusable glass containers=No wasted plastic 3. The food is delicious 4. Great customer service 5. I order the kids meals and they are the perfect portion size for me 6. Great variety of foods, not boring and repetitive 7. They have many meal options, customize to fit your needs 8. Reasonable pricing 9. Great delivery service 10. Option to pick up from their storefront instead of deliver, if you choose Overall, this is a wonderful service and I plan to continue with Planted Table!

A little bit about me, so you know where I'm coming from.. though I'm not vegan, I've been wanting to incorporate a more plant-based diet. I found Planted Table through Yelp and have been trying it out for about a month. I usually eat a little of this and that for my meals, meaning I don't actually eat each meal as a meal, if that makes any sense. As someone else touched on, the variability of the meals, in terms of proportions of starches, roots, greens, and protein can be skewed. I find that mixing things gives me a better balance, so I'm not overloaded on potatoes or beans for an entire meal. Pros: 1. For the most part, the food tastes really good. A shout out to the salads!- they are light, bright, flavorful, and joyful. They usually incorporate some some nuts, fruit, and the dressings are quite tasty. 2. Good customer service. They get back to you about any questions/comments, usually within a few hours. I had a few minor issues about the food and delivery, and they were responsive and apologetic. 3. Nice use of spices, they present a worldly and well-rounded POV of the food. 4. Convenient. They deliver when say they are going to deliver, and though I haven't met any of the drivers, they seem nice when I've spoken to them. 5. Responsible. They re-use glass containers, delivery bags, and seem to be espouse a certain mindset and integrity. Areas of improvement: 1. Consistency. I know that every dish can't be creative or inspired, and I don't need that (I've been using another food delivery service for the last 2.5 years, so I'm not one who gets tired of things easily), but the first week, I was like, "Wow, this is delicious, compliments to the chef. Super impressive. I'm definitely going to be switching to this for a while." This past week, I'm like, "Hmm, this is disappointing. Like, please tell the chef I want my money back." The majority of the dishes were heavy and left me feeling sluggish and bloated. I'm really hoping it was an off week, since there's so much about this company that I like and admire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will incorporate more green stuff in the meals next week. 2. Lack of ability to give feedback about individual meals. From the outside, they appear to be a small, successful, and growing company. Maybe they are still ramping and building up, that there's so much activity going on behind the scenes, that they haven't had a chance to incorporate this yet. Any business needs honest feedback. Other have mentioned this, so please take it in. Many of your meals have a heavy hand in salt. 3. Website. They recently revamped their website, and the main page is improved. The client and ordering pages are adequate for its purposes, though a bit clunky and not the most elegantly laid out. Hopefully, they'll get around to updating the client portal and making it more intuitive and user-friendly soon. If you're thinking about trying it out, I'd say give it a whirl. If you're lucky enough to live in the east bay, they have a pop-op store on Thursdays, where you can choose specific meals available and pick them up in person.
