Homemade pasta,. We had the special of the day, beet ravioli, it was delicate complex and delicious. The Sicilian appetizer was also outstanding! My Italian dinner guest was happily impressed as well.

The good news is this is delicious food at affordable prices. Unfortunately, they operate with a bad system such that when busy the staff gets easily overwhelmed. Their service system, referred to as "casual", entails everyone doing everything: all front of house staff do seating, taking orders, serving food, busing tables, taking payments, etc. This turns into chaos on busy nights; the two or three staff can get easily overwhelmed. They would benefit from a runner system...

The food is the best place to start. We ate lightly and didn't order main courses. The gnocchi were outstanding and shouldn't be missed. Also exceptional were the aroncini and the calamari salad. Having been to Italy several times, our group was reminded by the closeness to the authentic tastes of Italy. The dining area is simple but comfortable, and the wooden benches seats and chairs would benefit by having cushions on them. The lengthy wine list is exclusively Italian,...
