“Menu selections are varied and excellent. The minestrone is a very good specialty. Portions are generous. Steaks are excellent and generous in portion size. Breakfast and egg dishes are always consistent. Service is cheerful. Salads are great especially with an Elio’s Greek style dressing..“

“Amazing pastries. Been coming here for decades. Quiche, chicken pocket pies and blueberry Danish are some of my favorites. But my #1 favorite is cheese sticks. Twisted sticks of puff pastry layered with cheese, cayenne and mustard I believe. Discontinued a few years ago but reintroduced recently. Initial samples were without cayenne or mustard but most recent sample had some mustard I'm sure and was much like the originals I remember. Keep it up and I'll be back for more. I remember fondly cornmeal scones with cheese and bacon too. I like the quiche and the ranch scramble for brunch.“
“Tried this local Salvadoran spot in Richmond and really enjoyed it. I ordered two beef tacos and an authentic Salvadoran-style horchata, and everything was on point. The tacos were flavorful, well-seasoned, and made fresh, and the horchata tasted homemade—not overly sweet and very refreshing. You can tell this is a family-run place that cares about the quality of their food. Always happy to support local businesses like this. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Honestly the best soul food I have had in years. Ox tail was the true meaning of tendernisim, and for 35 bucks, you can not beat it. mac and cheese was perfect, greens were on point, fire red beans and the shrimp, OMFG. These guys know what they are doing. An absolute must stop for authentic soul food. And they do catering or single plates.“
