It was a beautiful and sunny day today and I planned to take my little out for ice cream. What better place to take a 12 year old than here? She had a good time watching them make the rolls and really enjoyed her ice cream. She got the cookies and cream. I've been here a number of times, but this was my first time trying the Fruity Pebble Roll. YUM! Fruity pebbles are like a sweet treat anyway, and it was sooo good. They used dark chocolate drizzle over the strawberry, and other than it looking great for photos I would prefer milk chocolate. It's such a sweet treat, and the chocolate is bitter but it's not much. Also... I haven't been in about a year but it's nice that they're finally accepting debit cards. I hated having to grab cash before I came. Price for the rolls used to be $7. Now they're $7.80. just FYI

if you're around oakland and are looking for an ice cream place i definitely recommend Freezing Point Creamery! I've tried their strawberry, mango and their cookies and cream rolled ice cream and mmhhh they're the most flavorful and delicious ice creams i've ever tried. props to the staff who must get tired from their arms from rolling ice cream all day! also i don't know how comfortable they must feel having people record them making the ice cream. but, they were nice and efficient when we went and had our ice cream done within 5 min. of ordering it. they also have boba and other things besides ice cream too.

Soooo I have to visit this place again. Visited today with a group of work friends for a birthday lunch. Ordered a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and man even one thing was not bad! One would think its just an ice cream place, but one of the best american diners in Oakland.

come here for a show and dessert. after dinner I treated the family here for something sweet. we all shared the thai tea ice cream which was really good. a nice good portion and the boys loved the show of how it was made. parking can be a bit tough since its a Chinatown but we lucked out tonight which made it even better.

I love that this place makes all of their own drinks and ice cream. Durian shake (5/5) - amazing and I don't even like durian! It tastes so fresh and light. This is more like a durian milkshake as they use a huge scoop of plain ice cream with frozen durian fruit. I tried this a few times after with regular and half sugar and it was still just as delicious either way. (To compare this item with UC Dessert's Durian Milkshake, this place is wayyy better.) Mango shake (0/5) - this has absolutely no flavor and I couldn't even taste the mango. I tried their mango pieces on top of the shake and it was super sour. Chrysanthemum ice cream (3/5) - really flavorful but way too sweet. Strawberry ice cream (4.5/5) - really milky and tastes like real strawberries without the artificial flavoring. Overall, I recommend trying this place. I will be back.

My favorite creamery! I wish they were open now, cuz I'm really craving some of that good stuff. Best cream in town

Delicious home made ice cream. Servers pour a cup of house-fresh ice cream batter on cooled metal plates. Using spatulas to incorporate forming crystals and fruit, they form and roll ice cream in front of you. The results are fresh and delicious. Thai iced tea is our favorite.

Good ice cream! Durian: Tastes a lot like the real fruit so if you like durian, you will like this. If you have never tried durian then you might want to stay away because it is a stinky fruit. Banana: I thought I was eating a real banana! Pistachio: more subtle pistachio flavor. Less sweet than most other pistachio ice cream I've tried. A friend sampled the ginger ice cream and she thought it was good but a whole scoop was too much of it so they allowed her to get half a scoop of ginger and half another flavor! All the flavors we tried were good and the staff was accommodating.

fun to watch it being made!

Royaltea's tea next door is much tastier. No wifi, no way to recycle-everything goes in the trash.

The ice cream is cool. More presentation than taste. So it's a bit overpriced. At least a dollar less would be better. Who controls the price range sign though? $7.80 a pop is not a one dollar sign thing.
