This is the second time we placed an order with Frjtz at the Oakland food hall and they were not there to make our order. The second time we have gone to pick up an order only to find out that they were closed. The second time that my family has been left in a lurch, hungry and upset. I am done trying to give this place my money. Never ordering from Fjtz again.

They were kind enough to remake my food after some kinda error with the alert system. Certainly worth the wait though :).

Feeling nostalgic for your middle school cafeteria gray hamburger? Yearn no more! It's here! The Keto Frjtz Burger is described as a "6 oz burger with chipotle remoulade, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles and tomato wrapped in romaine lettuce." A more honest description would be "warehouse club bulk-packaged frozen hamburger puck, steam-heated to a rubber consistency (without a hint of browning or caramelization), wrapped in days-old slightly brown lettuce, topped with a tiny hint of pickles and a dusting of what might be a few onion shavings." I can't recall being more disappointed by any takeout restaurant offering. It was better than nothing, but only just. Quality control might graciously have been said to slip except that all four of the burgers we ordered were prepared and delivered the same way. Avoid at all costs. You'll thank me later.

Literally every single thing we got from here was either an excellent brand new thing or one of the best versions of a traditional thing that we'd ever had. The chicken sandwich, the pulled pork stoner fries, the Peruvian stoner fries, the breakfast burritos we reheated the next day, ALL of it. 10/10, will definitely come again.

I know they are supposedly known for their Belgium waffles and crepes but I'm gonna review their burger and fries which are Off. The. Hook. Seriously best fries I have ever had! The burgers are pretty dang good too. I've ordered from here a number of times and never had a bad meal. If you like crispy fries without being greasy-gross, this place is for you. If you like a good hand-made burger cooked to order, this place is for you. They are in the Oakland Food Hall in East Oakland, parking's a b**** but picking up the food is a breeze. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try them!

Very disappointed with my plate. I ordered the blueberry waffles they barely looked cooked and they tasted kind of gooey wasn't a good gooey either. My partner order the waffle he said it's wasn't bad but the apples definitely save the plate for him. I'm not sure if I'll give them another go we'll see.

Wow their pulled pork carnitas breakfast burrito is delicious. The sweetened if the caramelized onions with the flavorful perfectly cooked pork pairs perfectly with the perfect amount of cheese. I love how flavorful it is but not too salty or overwhelming. AND- it's giant! I eat a lot and I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Grateful my friends told me about this spot. Thank you for your yummy food

Order 2 French Hookers, and got Pancakes instead of French toast on both orders. Was amazed at the menu options and planing to return for lunch but now I'll never be back.

I was browsing through Oakland Food Hall's page for lunch options when I came across Frjtz (how do you pronounce it?). I was super surprised how many options they have: from loaded fries to burgers, breakfast burritos, brunch items, chicken wings, sandwiches, crepes, and salads. I don't what theme/genre this restaurant is leaning towards because it doesn't seem quite fusion or all-American. I ordered the Lomo Saltado & Peruvian Stoner Frjtz (sirloin flap meat with samurai sauce over fries) and The Legion of Honor (two poached eggs on pullman brioche bread) to share between 4 people. The price indicated that it might be big portions and sure enough, it was enough for us. The Lomo Saltado & Peruvian Stoner Frjtz doesn't look like the picture on their website and I'm not sure what the "astonishing Samurai Sauce" because it didn't taste that special. All I remember is the fries were still crispy which was surprising because the box was completely closed when we got it. The poached eggs were okay but it was on top of super salty brioche bread that got soggy and became unappetizing for me. My friend likes bread of any kind so she ate all of it but for me, I think I will stick with English muffins in the future. The prices are high for the quality of food but it sort of made up in the quantity of food. I thought the food was okay but I wouldn't order what I got again. This makes me skeptical of the other foods but Frijtz does offer a large variety that indecisive customers might benefit from.

Everyone should get a second chance. Today I felt like eating a cheeseburger for lunch, so I ordered a Iowa Burger from Frjtz @ Jingletown Eats. No fries, no discounts, no deals. The Iowa Burger is a great burger! I ordered it medium rare, and it was delivered hot and juicy. The crispy bacon gave it a crunch of flavor. It has all the basic goodies to put on a burger.....bacon, cheese, carmelized onions, pickles, tomato and lettuce. Hey, this burger was juicy and the flavors matched perfectly. The lower bun was slightly soggy, but that can be because of the delivery time. It's too bad Jingletown Eats doesn't have a common dining area where customers can enjoy their food in a post Covid-19 world. Frjtz-Oakland is cloud kitchen at Jingletown Eats on East 12th St. {Covid-19 Review}

So in today's adventures in ordering in we have Frjtz Oakland. I have been seeing, looking at this place for weeks, likely months and somehow have always talked myself out of ordering. I was stupid. Today I gave in and I ordered The Legion of Honor and all I have to say is I will be ordering it again, though next time I pay the extra dollar to I assume drown the potatoes in hollandaise. The potatoes were wonderful enough on their own but with added hollandaise they would be that little much better. I also could not resit the Van Gogh crepe, because a the simplicity of a crepe with just butter, lemon, and sugar will always be my favorite and this one did not disappoint. The candied rind was a wonderful added touch. Needless to say if you find yourself looking to order in and wanting hollandaise, I highly recommend Frjtz!

Savory crepes. For the win. This place is awesome, I don't know why there aren't more places that make crepes like this! I usually go for dessert crepes, but the Remington was just calling my name today. Couldn't be happier with how it tasted, will definitely be getting it again.

just got done eating my delivery from this place and it's super delicious! 1st time trying it and i'll definitely be back White Chocolate pancakes- didn't come with butter or syrup but they tasted great without it. slightly disappointed because i thought the white chocolate chips would be cooked into the pancake but they were just sprinkled on top. still pretty good Korean bbq wings- these aren't Korean fried chicken wings but rather regular wings with Korean style sauce. super yummy and the bleu cheese that comes with it is delicious too small frjtz- decent amount of fries, i still have some leftover. i got the Habanero Cranberry ketchup which kinda tastes like regular ketchup but just a bit sweeter, the chipotle remoulade which has a really mild flavor but still good and the smokey honey mustard which was probably my favorite. the fries were good but would probably taste a better if they were hot and not delivered i enjoyed it all!

They have the best crepes in town! Though the chocolate pot du creme is worth getting again, the strawberry Nutella crepe is my favorite. Also, it's so nice to find a place that has vegetarian poutine with a mushroom sauce, though I have to order the white truffle ketchup every time I go there.
