The Jjam-Bbong is the best homemade noodles I have ever tried. I definitely recommend it.

It is true the best JjamPong and Jajangmyen in the bay area. My search is done and highly recommend to everyone.

Server was very nice. Food was great.

We had leftover of tang su yuk and server gave us the sauce in separate cup to take it to go, and explained to us how to heat it up at home.

This is why my friends and I don’t go here.
On Wednesdays, my favorite Chinese restaurant is closed so I have no choice but to go there.
The taste changes every day and is never consistent.
Just salty, spicy, and the taste of an MGS bomb.
It seems like you just can't cook.

Love this spot, we’ve been going for years. All the renovations they have done really cleaned the place up.

Our favorite dishes jajangmyeon and the fried pork. Their noodles are so good!!! Big portions also. There’s no other place like it in the bay, would highly recommend.

Staff is also very attentive and always so welcoming and nice.

This is one of my all-time favorite takeout meals; it tastes exactly like the Korean-Chinese-fusion I remember from Seoul.

The restaurant is tucked away in a bit of a grungy strip mall, and inside is a steamy, crowded restaurant that feels just as authentic to Korea as the food. I personally prefer take-out here to dining in, as it can get a bit hot.

The classic combo is the black bean noodles (jajang-myeon) with the seafood soup (jjam-bbong), but the soup is a bit too salty and fishy for my tastes. Instead, I prefer to pair the noodles with the sweet and sour fried pork (tang-soo-yuk); the combo is my definition of a perfect meal.

The best part of takeout is that they pack the noodles, pork, and sauces all separately, so the food doesn’t get soggy. The black bean noodles are perfectly chewy and remind me vaguely of a Korean version of spaghetti-o’s (in the best way possible).

The pork has that insanely crispy skin that Korean cuisine just knows how to nail, and the sauce is tangy with large chunks of pineapple. I recommend dipping the pieces of pork in the sauce instead of pouring the sauce over it, since this helps store leftovers for the next day ;)

Have ordered this exact meal several times, and will continue to do so until I die, they die, or one of us moves away.

Actually, I didn't visit the store, but ordered it through Uber Eats, and it was better than any other soybean paste I've had in Korea.
Have some soy sauce. Soy sauce.

The food was amazing and greatly priced. We ordered the garlic and soy chicken, rice cakes, and jajang myeon (black bean noodles w pork, in case wrong spelling). All 3 were great. There were 2 different music stations playing at the same time, but aside from that, it was perfect

Parking: There’s a security guard for their parking lot

“Best lunch ever,” as reported by our 7 yo and 5 yo. We dined outside because of weather. Adjacent to Telegraph Ave so definitely an urban atmosphere (parking lot part of Koryo Village shopping center) but quick and friendly service. The #1 black bean noodles were surprisingly a hit with our picky children. Popcorn chicken was super crispy, and we got chili sauce on side for adults. Complimentary fried dumpling for Father’s Day <3

We visited on a Wednesday evening around 7 PM, and the place was almost full. Despite being busy, the staff was very friendly, and the food was served quickly, considering the number of dine-in customers and online orders. The chicken was very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the noodles were excellent. We ordered the half-and-half (jamjamyeon) and were surprised to find all the ingredients—crab, meat, and squid—in the soup, despite it being a half-portion, not just vegetables!
