Think of the part last time you ate teriyaki...dried chicken with a bunch of gross sauce. This place perplexed me... the chicken and shrimp are perfectly cooked, with just enough sauce. The care in the prep is beyond anything you'd expect for what you'd think is a simple dish. I honestly can't think of another place that makes food this juicy, and with care. It's been on my weekly lunch rotation for a reason. Shame it's in a dead city bc you can tell they care when restaurants around them only care to make a buck.

Basically just teriyaki & salads
Clean, fresh, simple Japanese meals. They cook everything to order and don't over-sauce their food like a lot of Americanized Japanese restaurants. Great mom-and-pop place run by a hardworking family.

The menu is limited but the quality is always high! The chicken is fresh from the grill, not sitting under a heat lamp. The slaw and edamame are perfect accompaniments.

Good fresh food, bread a bit tough, nice service.
Very tasty and affordable. I usually get the beef /steak combo plate. Its really good. They ask you how you want your meat prepared which is good.

Really good food and a perfect lunch!
One of my favorite Sushi spots in Oaktown!
Not bad or great but average.
I saw the great review about the teriyaki chicken from previous review (didn't look at the year..oops) and decided to try a combo of beef and chicken teriyaki. All I can say is it wasn't seasoned well. The meat should taste good by itself and it wasn't. The slaw/salad wasn't seasoned well either.
Not bad or great but average.
