This was a few years ago. The lady was so nice to me but when opened my meal at home, it was a whole chicken breast, it looked boiled. It was not bbq. They could have spit on it there would be more seasoning. To this day I don't understand why they gave me that.

Have MERCY the food's amazing here!!!!! I'm a very picky eater however..my friend just walked in the door about an hour ago with food from here. I'd ordered The Cajun Basa with red beans and rice, corn muffin ;and the collard greens. Everything tastes really good..not salty.My new go to spot

I've been coming for years, for the bbq ribs and sides. The ribs are generously sized and smoky, great sauce on the side. Genny is one of a kind! Not always open but when they are grab a plate!

Best soul food bbq ever, Oakland's hidden gem. Try the tender oxtail dinner, it'll blow your mind. Wonderful, kind staff. Go early bc they're so good, they run out.
