Best sushi in Oakland. Hands down. Order the Salmon or Hamachi belly nigiri, you won't regret it. All the first is so fresh and melts in your mouth. Rolls are delicious and there's a great variety, not like so many sushi places that just have a bunch of California rolls with different toppings. Chefs and servers are friendly and welcoming. I've even gotten takeout and it's always packaged very nicely and has huge portions! Love Ginza so much.Wheelchair accessibility: Open and clean, uncluttered floor, no steps or obstacles and lightweight chairs that are easy to move out of the way to pull up to a table.

Sushi is falling apart! There is room for quality improvement. Taste was good though!

Came to this place because we wanted sushi! The gyozas were amazing, the chicken kaarage was awesome. We had the smooth cheery blossom roll, the black dragon roll was yummy, and the golden gate roll was great ! We had mochi ice cream (matcha and strawberry) quite delightful! The staff is kind and attentive, will return soon !

I came in from Los Angeles for the weekend. My wife frequently orders from this restaurant for her work employees. When we received our order the salmon looked funny and the albacore as well. I'm Filipino so I usually have a better gut resistance to bad food. Unfortunately this time I didn't have such luck. After eating it soon after I was getting up to go to the bathroom most of the rest of the night. My wife was so upset that on the weekend I was visiting this had to happen to me. We will never ever order from this restaurant and highly suggest that anyone thinking about trying this place out seriously think twice ! We tried calling but no one ever called us back to even apologize.

Great low-key sushi spot. Underrated. The fish is fresh and food is prepared well. Didn't love the small-cut pieces in chicken karaage but everything else we got was

I stop here often the food is so good. Staff was always welcoming and tentative even when busy. Recommend.

This is a nice little mom and pop sushi stop for a quick meal. I agree with some of the other reviews - fish is fresh, rolls are good, large roll selection, no frill and no up-sells. The sashimi pieces were quite big! The rolls were a bit smaller than I’m used to, and the rice for the rolls was just a tad chewy. Otherwise, no complaints. But if you’re looking for a fancy sushi joint with a fancy menu, this place isn’t it.

My kids love sushi. Love is an understatement lol. Whenever I ask what do they want for dinner, it's always sushi. We tried this place through DoorDash and they loved it. They said this is their new favorite spot.

I ordered combination 2 item plate and chose tonkatsu and tempura. The food arrived on time. Rice was room temp, tonkatsu was cold and tough as nuts, tempura was stale. It was as if I purchased from a steam table. Waste of money. I only ordered here because my usual spot, RNR, was not accepting online orders. They should change their name from Ginza. People may get the wrong impression of cuisine from Japan. 2 stars because it was on time and I had no choice to eat as I was hungry. It was edible.

I love this place. I get the bento box with Sashimi and oregon roll. Delicious. They care for the food here. Mindful Preparation even for take out. I was picking up an order for family and they had my bento closed with sashimi outside. Only when all food ready to go did they put the sashimi in my bento box. Such a small detail that I acknowledged and they let me know they did not want the sashimi in a hot bento until necessary. Love it ! Tlc for the food. As it should be everywhere imo .
