We really wanted to like the food as we live in the neighborhood but unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. We had a pollo burrito, fish taco and the al pastor "street fries". The pork and chicken were both a bit dry. And meanwhile the fish was too much batter and too little fish. Overall, the food was under seasoned and the various topping ingredients felt like they came out of a prepackaged bag. Even the shredded cheese for the street fries seemed like what I'd find from a pre-shredded bag at the grocery store. And it wasn't even melted! Generally speaking, it just lacked yumminess & felt slapdash. Needs a total revamp too to bottom. There's far better options just one neighborhood over in Fruitvale. And even in Glenview area, there's better options via a food truck that's parked in evenings next to Farmer Joe's or the family sidewalk pop-up in front of Seven Seas Liquor.

Great addition to Glenview! I had the carnitas and fish tacos and both were delicious. Super friendly service, too.

Must Try! I went for the long awaited first time last week and I loved the place! I asked for 4 steak tacos with chips and guacamole to be divided into 2 to go bags and they cheerfully split the 1 order of chips and guacamole. They were busy and they worked together as a team getting the food out fast and a problem with the cash system working. It's a great family feel, with high quality ingredients. The best thing is the steak is so tasty!! I'm impressed with the from scratch guacamole, everything is very fresh. I noticed the tall rotisserie of marinated pork and I'm excited to try that this week!! It's such a great edition to The Glenview.

Everything I've tried so far has been delicious: refried beans, rice, carne asada taco, the guac and chips. And the staff are very friendly!

My family had a wonderful dinner at Glenview Taqueria last night. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The young woman at the counter not only took our orders but promptly served our food as well. We all loved our food. The guacamole was excellent! I had the carne asada burrito and I absolutely loved it. I intended on saving half of the burrito for another meal but it was so tasty I ended up eating it later that night. I can't wait to go back again. As someone that has lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years, Glenview Taqueria is the type of establishment we have been missing and have desperately needed. You need to try it!

Grilled chicken super burrito is really good. Chips, guacamole and agua Fresca are tasty. We've needed a Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood for a while. Let's keep them here!

I ordered a steak burrito, no cilantro, and a chicken taco, no cilantro, to go. When I opened the bag at home I found a burrito bowl (no tortilla) and a taco - both swimming in cilantro.

I have tasted every taco they prepare and I can honestly say they were the best I've ever eaten. So fresh and full of flavor. (Please give them some slack. Getting a new restaurant to run smoothly takes a bit of time.)

Delicious food and lovely service! The Glenview district’s much needed and anticipated taqueria is a welcome addition to the local scene.

We had VERY good fish tacos! I will definitely order those again. The restaurant was also clean, the service was good, and the location is great. The only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pollo we had was dry. So next time I'll try ordering something else, plus more fish tacos!

I went last week to Glenview taqueria for the first time and liked it so much I came back again this week. So far I've tried the shrimp taco, fish taco and quesabirria. All three were excellent. My only concern is I live really close and will probably stop by here too often.

I've been looking forward to the grand opening of Glenview Taqueria, and it's a hit! So far, I've had the chicken burrito, the fish and shrimp tacos, and the flan to-go. First: the chicken burrito. It's a good size and very flavorful. I found the burrito a bit wet, and in the final bites, it fell apart. But for the amount of flavor, it was a good trade-off. A few days later, I returned and had the shrimp and fish tacos. Both were quite good. I tend to prefer fish tacos, but in this case, I thought the shrimp tacos had a slight edge in flavor. I like that the taco shells are soft and slightly thick, keeping the taco intact through the final bite. As for flan, it's a nice addition as a quick on-the-go option. On both occasions, I found the service to be surprisingly fast. I visited on a bright, sunny day, and the outdoor seating was perfect to pass the time. I will be returning. Often!

Hooray for this new neighborhood spot! We've been twice in one week. I am a vegetarian so appreciate that they offer two vegetarian taco options: the mushroom (amazing!) and rice and beans (super tasty!) My spouse enjoyed the fish taco and shrimp taco. Everything is flavorful and the tortillas are fluffy and made well. I am cheering this place on.

So excited to have a taqueria in the neighborhood! Flavors and selection were on point - the carne asada tacos were delicious! Looking forward to trying everything else!
