Car window got smashed and everything got stolen. Do not come to this place.

Maybe I'm picky, but it's the worst Korean barbecue I've ever tasted.

Order to go and the restaurant was empty and still I waiting for an hour+ for the order. Guy at front seems to not care the order is late. He keeps coming back to me and says 15 min for the 4th time

we got terrible food poisoning from gogi time.
the place was nearly empty when we went on saturdays afternoon; my guess is they're not going through the food fast enough to keep it fresh, so it's probably old food they're serving.
most of the meat was unseasoned; they did give us salt to cook the meat with, but we would have appreciated some seasoning. sides were okay.
service was okay; the server wasn't around much. he brought us the wrong thing one time and disappeared before we could ask for him to correct it.
all in all, very much not worth it for the 4 (and counting!) days of food poisoning.

Food: I’ve had bibimbap at many Korean restaurants, and this was the worst I've ever had. The rice was overcooked and mushy when it arrived, as were many of the vegetables. It was the blandest I’ve ever had. The flavor of the beef soup with noodles was good, but the meat was tough and chewy. Banchan were decent.
Service: I get that it was the end of the night so they were probably tired and wanting to go home. But I had to ask for the rice, gochujang, and/or check multiple times. They told me they didn’t have any gochujang (the spicy/sweet sauce made with hot peppers). How is that even possible at a Korean restaurant? When I interacted with staff, they were pleasant and friendly though.
Atmosphere: While the music was way too loud for me—80 decibels in the bathroom and approaching that elsewhere—I recognize that this is not out of the ordinary for late night restaurants and restaurants in general. Ventilation could have been better.

$105 for 2 of us, not the best bbq, they charged 18% service charge for serving two people. Grill plates were all breaking from corners, ambiance is dull. Meat portions and marination, not the best
We came here as the wait for our regular spot Jong ga house was too long. Not coming again, back to the best Jong Ga ! Meat Sides and service, prices everything is much better there!

Food was just ok. Meat quality not that great. They should definitely do some improvements on their hoods for smoke.
Place seems like they don’t put much money into it.

This place was the shit when it opened bomb ass food service was great prices were great Idk what happened but it just sucks now I’m so sad because this was the best Korean bbq spot
Hours of Operation are incorrect. We love this place and went at 1:00 pm since online it says they open at 12. I even called. No one answered but the message says they open at 12 too, so we went only to be disappointed. We ended up going to Jonga House instead and really enjoyed our time.

I had an amazing experience thanks to Tyler's outstanding customer service! He regularly checked in on my party and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. The kimchi pancake and kimchi fried rice w/ bulgogi did not disappoint! If Gogi Time were closer to me, I'd definitely visit more often.

Price is a bit steep but you will definitely leave full?
My goodness, Oakland; How is this place rated so high‽ You should be wary of KBBQ places with no Korean customers..
Is there some sort of Stockholm syndrome thing going on where this is the only Korean BBQ you've experienced?
Everything except our waitress here was awful.
Every banchan was dry as a bone. The only thing drier was the meat!
Beef-belly so tough it should come with a choking hazard warning!
Meat quality was terrible with absolutely no flavor. The only piece remotely decent was the sirloin.
All this for the price of $40 per person‽ What a rip-off.
I've been to many KBBQ places that are much more affordable with way higher quality.
Bonus negative points: No rice paper! What kind of KBBQ doesn't have rice paper?

Wasn’t sure what to expect because hadn’t had Korean BBQ in this area, but it turned out a great experience.
First thing I noticed is they’re very nice. Very welcoming. That sets the tone. Next thing I noticed is they have a fairly large rectangular grill which is better than the circles I usually see. And they are fast about changing the grill expeditiously as it gets gunked up with the sauces.
It’s spacious and yet urban nice inside. Perhaps a little dark but different strokes for different folks. We were in the side room which was darker.
About $40 for the all you can eat, which I would recommend. You get two appetizers and four meats at a time. Also can get a couple sides and/or veggies.
Good selection of meats. And the meats are GOOD portion size. And good thickness. Excellent soup and sides. Specifically the tofu soup. Softener kinds of rice. All goodness.
You will leave here full of you get the all you can eat.
Parking lot is a little odd. Slotted, angled spaces; so you need to back out to the street to exit. But at least they have a posting lot at all! Better than street parking.

Went on a Monday night, was pretty empty. Had a large group and they sat us in the corner which was nice but harder to get a server's attention. No big deal, the staff was extremely nice and friendly. $40pp for AYCE and multiple sides, felt like good value! Parking lot does feel a bit sketchy, but was expected since it's in Oakland.
