Visiting my son, I came from the East Coast, looking for doughnut culture, and found everything I could’ve dreamed of at Golden Gate Donuts in Oakland. From the simply delicious glazed donuts, to the buttermilk donuts, bear, claws, custard-filled bars, apple fritters, and donut holes to their delicious and humongous breakfast sandwiches – – Golden Gate Donuts is everything I wanted and needed. Not going to lie. This is one of the better breakfast sandwiches in oakland for the price. $7.50 and made to order. So many cafes trying to charge $12-15 for a breakfast sandwich these days.
