I went this Cafe because it was close and I was interested to see just what exactly they serve, as their yelp page is a little vague. This Cafe isn't really a Cafe at all.. it's more like a storefront with a hard to read maybe menu listed on the overhead sign. There were no prices listed and everyone spoke Spanish. I did not order any food due to the language barrier so i can't speak to that, but I recommend only coming here if you are fluent in Spanish, or have friends that are!

Guatemaya Cafe is just a storefront. overhead signboard had product listing but no prices. scarity of food seen on steam table. just a few seats inside. associate spoke no english. i just mumbled a few spanish words: uno, tamale, pollo. got what i wanted. offerings: tamales, tortillias, snacks, coffee, eats: chicken tamele(2.50) -glob of liquefied masa,, with dry chicken within.. salty profile, maybe some lard too. lst time had a tamale lacking a firm texture. -didn't get any salsa. maybe it was on the table. -guatemala version? leftovers: -got the runs from this tamale or hot chili dipping salsa earlier. improbable repeat. street parking in front....
