Pedestrian boba, and your experience will vary greatly depending upon who’s working the counter. Since I love boba I usually order a large milk tea and ask for a generous boba portion, just a tiny bit extra. Some of the workers are cool and do it no problem, but the other day I encountered this odd girl who couldn’t wrap her head around the concept. She was like a dog with a bone. “You have to pay extra!” But I don’t want a whole extra amount, just a little bit….please? “No, it cost extra!”It was a bizarre interaction, for sure. I must left.

Delicious food and would recommend their waffles! Their smoothies/drinks are great but I had to take off a star because it was vett try hard to communicate with the barista who did not seem to know English very well, but she was still very kind.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and it is easy to aces with a small ramp

I really want this location to succeed since I live nearby, but everytime I pass by it's empty. Note to mgmt: the street presence really leaves something to be desired since the walls are completely blank and it looks like a vacant space as you're driving by. The graphics on the walls all over the new Richmond store would look great here and would add a lot of life and energy!

I'm always happy to get Happy Lemon! I came for a post-dinner drink as I was already in the area. This location is quite large with a couple of small tables off to the side. Since I came in the evening, I didn't want to get anything caffeinated, so I went with the dragon fruit yakult smoothie with half sweetness for $6.50. It was okay but not my favorite drink here, especially with the half sweetness. All I really tasted was the yakult, since dragon fruit contributes more to the color of a drink than the taste. I got it out of curiosity, but next time I'll stick with the mango yakult smoothie for a non-caffeinated drink. Still, it was nice to have a drink in hand while we walked down Piedmont Ave

Happy Lemon is my favorite boba place! No frills, just good drinks overall. Their boba is consistently delicious and the right texture, which is hard to get other places. This location is clean and quick too! Don’t forget to sign up for their free rewards program through their app… because who doesn’t like free boba!!

I usually choose Happy Lemon over Mr.Green Bubble but today was a disappointment. Usually all chains are consistent in their quality but we came not even around closing time and it was like a whole different store. The boba was extremely hard and stuck together; ruined the entire drink esp when I was expecting fluffy and soft boba. The cheese foam was less than usual. Should've chosen Mr.Green Bubble instead.

Winter melon milk drink was awesome! Clean inside. Wish I had asked for half ice

Doesnt look like much when you walk past, but when you go in it looks amazing. A nice detailed menu and lots of options. Number 1 across the board.

Lovely and consistent boba in a clean and minimal space. Drinks can be customized (this is still impressive to me since back in the early 2000s there was no such thing as a "half sweet" option!), and online ordering and pickup makes everything fast. Really love the Okinawa roasted milk tea and the roasted tea with salted cheese, though someone from marketing should really look into making "salted cheese" sound as appealing as it is tasty.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon, variety of options on the menu. Decided to try the milk tea with boba and their puff cream, half sweet. Really liked the drink, workers were nice, wish I had signed up for the rewards system before ordering. Will definitely be back. Drink total came out to be almost $7, which is standard these days but don't mind paying for time to time :) happy this new location is here

We ordered our drinks and I ordered a bubble waffle. I have never had it before. The service was quick and easy, they were friendly and the ambiance of the place was very chill. I will definitely be getting a bubble waffle again. Yum!

This place never has a line. Which is perfect, nothing standing in between us and our boba addiction. We love this place as much as we love boba!
