Love coming here! The drinks are always so well made and delicious. Staff are kind and were able to let me know things I could have based on my allergies. I also love visiting the little shop of locally made goods from clothes, herbal medicines, and more! 10/10 would recommend ✨
This is by far one of the 2 best coffee shops in the Bay. Not just Oakland. The staff are always kind and friendly as hell, the food is always served piping hot and tastes hella fresh (the empanadas are delectably delicious if you're a first time customer looking for a recommendation), and the atmosphere is amazing. You can tell that a lot of love goes into everything they do here. The decor is dope and reminds me of the kind of place that the likes of MLK, Dolores Huerta...
Lovvveee this coffee shop. I feel super safe & welcomed here. Coffee is delicious and so is the food. Suggest the matcha or marzapán latte! Chill atmosphere that doesn't feel overwhelming & feels like a breath of fresh air amongst the chaos of the world. Great educational reading materials & clothing / handmade goods by local artists / creators. Staff are authentic and genuine. I'm grateful I don't get blasted with fake smiles & obnoxious scripted...
