We stopped in at the recommendation of our local hosts. If you’re a Starbucks person or a cop, don’t come here. This is a real neighborhood cafe. The community is outstanding, the people are incredibly nice and social, and the chai I had was amazing. Vegan baked goods are also delicious. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Oakland!
Love coming here! The drinks are always so well made and delicious. Staff are kind and were able to let me know things I could have based on my allergies. I also love visiting the little shop of locally made goods from clothes, herbal medicines, and more! 10/10 would recommend ✨
This is by far one of the 2 best coffee shops in the Bay. Not just Oakland. The staff are always kind and friendly as hell, the food is always served piping hot and tastes hella fresh (the empanadas are delectably delicious if you're a first time customer looking for a recommendation), and the atmosphere is amazing. You can tell that a lot of love goes into everything they do here. The decor is dope and reminds me of the kind of place that the likes of MLK, Dolores Huerta...
