CCW Bar and Restaurant is currently just operating as CCW Bar as the kitchen is closed. My friend's partner organized a surprise graduation party for her here (give it up for DR Kate!) There were overall quite of few of us -- when we left at 9 pm there were 20 people from our party alone gathered there. That being said, we were not the largest party. There seemed to be some sort of post-work happy hour at a nearby table that snagged seating under a tent. CCW is only open once a month, and conveniently during First Fridays. Outside food is allowed. I think the idea is that you can grab your First Fridays food fix and come here for a laid-back time to hang out in a beer garden away from the street noise. My only real complaint is that the line to the bar was consistently ~10 people long. Thankfully though, we had pitchers at our table. I had the paloma and that was nicely done. The beer selection though, for such a popular place, was on the sparse side. I'll be recommending CCW for people in the area for First Fridays! Seems like CCW has found their niche in the Oakland evening social scene.

Love. Love. Love. Nothing but love for a creative space like this that brings it unapologetically. Renews my faith that art like this can survive. If you appreciate the vegan food, the drinks, the cars, the art and the patio then you are my people. I highly recommended this place.

Just pulled in to eat at chef d's fried chicken and Mac and cheese also had a barbecue plate and then some pear combler dessert to take home. Saw his food on Instagram and had to come pay him a visit and was not disappointed at all, we enjoyed every single bite and the desert was the icing on the cake, brought one home to add some ice cream to it! Will be back soon and thanks for the ambiance, such a location!

I got the CCW Bar and Restaurant with dui fries, it was really good. It was a bit crowded inside but it was totally worth it. The staff were really attentive and nice.

I have always been a huge fan of Drakes, they have phenomenal service, great food and amazing beers. Drake's customer service is also 10/10. I had the pleasure of working with Nikki Constantino who was incredibly helpful to me when coordinating a large event in one of Drake's private rooms. The flexibility, kindness, and prompt service from the staff at Drakes is second to none. Thank you Drakes and thank you Nikki!

Amending my review because 1 star is a bit harsh. The place has a very unique ambience and a great bar. The kitchen has been inconsistent the pst few years, leaving me disappointed as a previous customer.
