I made a reservation for my birthday and was shocked to see how poor the customer service was. The bar tender was trans which doesn’t matter but had an attitude when i ordered a drink. He acted annoyed that it was my birthday and was sarcastic when I was in a good mood on my special day. There was no workers to order food and the tables were not cleaned and the fire pits were broken. I complained to the other bar tender and he felt bad and gave me a free drink which was nice. Cool place to stop buy but don’t expect the best customer service especially for a special day like your birthday.

Very under staff for a Friday night. One waitress that didn't take orders and only brought out food. Had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks, plus you have to order your food too with bartender. Music sucked, vibe was tense with bartenders, and the chicken wings were the only good thing on the menu, and they only gave you 5 for $16.

If you're killing time before a show, this is a nice spot to catch some views of uptown Oakland - best at sunset, of course! Cocktails were pretty good, but I was surprised by how stained some of the furniture and flooring was. Not really their fault, but better materials for an outdoor bar should probably have been chosen in the first place. The brie-baked baby potatoes and cheese-covered pretzel bites were notably good and filling. Note: This visit took place in September 2024.

We really enjoyed High 5ive Rooftop Bar. The Mezcal drinks were great along with the views. I did not try any food. The Kissel Midtown is adjacent with great rooms and brunch.

Great evening and atmosphere. The location allows you to enjoy the evening air with outdoor heating furnaces that add a good vibe. It's like sitting by a campfire but with all the amenities of your living room. Nice drink selections also.

I just wanted to post a public review of this awesome place. We had our pre-wedding cocktail event here and it was GREAT! The atmosphere, the food, the service all of it was 1st rate! A+ for sure!
The place was nice. Parking to get to the place was awful. We almost gave up. Our server came once and took our credit card to start a tab, which we didn't ask for. we ordered our drinks, which were good. I would not know how the food was because I was not offered a menu. The server never came back. Hubby had to go up to the bar to close out the tab and get the receipt. No one came back to check on us or to see if we wanted or needed anything else. We will not be back. Maybe it is just not our vibe

Had a blast dancing with friends. Friendly, capable bar tenders and great atmosphere. Wish there was more house music. Be prepared to pay big bucks for mixed drinks which is why I gave 4 stars. (We didn't eat the food.)
