Pretty food but honestly bland and mediocre. I had the Hopscotch Brunch at the Itani pop-up event by surprise and was severely disappointed. The salad I was given was nearly impossible to pick up with a fork, the pork belly benedict was not seasoned and bland, and the best part of my meal was an accompanying fruit salad and my yuzu lemonade.

Great food service sauce are freshly made
Yonsei oysters are the way to go. Seriously so delicious.
(1) For a private event service was absolutely terrible:
-Asked for the same thing multiple times, the staff came back and asked us if we wanted two of the same drinks per person – it had been in the cue for so long they forgot.
-More than half of the shared plates came without serving utensils, when we asked for some the male server looked at us and just ignored the request.
(2) Food quality was okay 6/10 at best.
-Stomach did not feel great for the next two days, multiple people said the same thing.
-Drinks were so mediocre we resorted to ordering beers.
-You could get better dessert at a safeway
(3) Staff noticeably spent the majority of the night talking to each other rather than helping out.
-When ordering drinks from the bar both staff gave dirty looks and seemed exasperated from the start.
(4) The staff will rush you out and if you don’t get the memo they will bump chairs and cleaning items into you to be more direct.
Mediocre pour over coffee for $5. Fried chicken salad was chicken fingers over a handful of Costco mixed greens. Pretty disappointing.
I've gotten take-out twice and dined in once every time the quality of the food hasn't changed. The service is fast and personable. It's always a pleasure to spend money at a kind and consistent business.

Paul is an awesome server. He was running circles around the place and still gave us such amazing service. We watched him handle some tough complaints with amazing grace and poise. Good was so delicious, definitely try the tots. We will back!
Discrimination! Went to lunch with a reservation. The waiter was disinterested in serving us from the beginning. Didn't say hi, not even to my 2 year old. Server was extremely dry when taking our order. I ordered a mimosa which took over 30min to come after I asked 2x. After 45min our food still had not come even though people around us which came after us and ordered after us had already received their food. The server was avoiding coming to our table chatting with other tables. At this point my 2 year was starving and crying. I went to the server and inquired about the food to which she literally acted annoyed about my inquiry. Part of our food finally came 10min after that. My child was crying and on the floor as it was nearly 2pm and we had Sat down just before 1pm. I took one tiny sip of my drink and decided we had enough were not comfortable being treated like this. As we were about to leave the server told us they were out of biscuits and would take it off our bill. We ordered our food almost an hour ago and you wait until then to tell us? No empathy for us having a starving small child. They even had the nerve to charge us after all that. I can't understand why we would be treated like that other than we were the only Indians at the restaurant. This place has an issue with customers who don't "fit it". If you read others who had similar experiences there's a pattern. I will never dine here and make it a point to tell everyone in my network about the poor treatment we received.

We had a really bad experience at hopscotch. I feel that we were racially profiled by the restaurant. Seated at 1pm with our toddler , not greeted by the server, had to beckon them to order. It took 30 mins to get a mimosa. 50 mins to get our order of fried chicken. Everyone around us was getting their drinks and food served even when they arrived 30 mins after us. Our toddler lost it by then and the server tells us oh by the way the biscuits are sold out. It took you 50 mins to tell me that the biscuits are sold out? By then we said we are leaving and asked to get our half served order to go and they still had the audacity to charge us. How does everyone else around you get served chicken and biscuits they ordered at 1:30 but for us the biscuits are sold out? We ordered 25 mins before them? Please don’t bother coming if you don’t ‘fit in’
Great little place. The food is tasty and the service is prompt.

Great fried chicken sandwich with very generous servings of tater tots (me) and fries (my wife). Staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. The inside seating is limited but there is also outdoor tented seating available. Parking on the street.
Great restaurant, amazing staff, and the burger/bloody Mary combination is undefeated. Finish off with the donuts.
