Actual concerns on allergen safety here: There’s chunks of dropped chocolate flavor in the Mandarin Dreams flavor and looks like it has just been left there without any concern. Huge long line and one person serving and looking like they absolutely did not want to be there. Oreo sundae pictured, honestly can’t recommend the experience. Better go elsewhere for ice cream 🥲

Really delicious ice cream, and the Starter berry kouign amann flavor is so good. The only downside is the portion size (which others have mentioned) is really small. The single scoop ($6.50) is really the size you'd get with a kids scoop elsewhere

We love HS’s ice cream and this 1-star review is entirely for the lack of service at this location tonight. We approached, looked at the menu, excited for the new flavors (I got HS’s newsletter about them this afternoon!) and waited for the woman to turn around to help us. No acknowledgment. So I said “Hello?” And she does not turn around. I’m puzzled. Does she have earbuds in both ears? So I practically screamed to get her attention, at which point, she turned around, looked at us, mumbled something, and turned back to cleaning the counter. Seriously? We watched her clean for another 20 seconds and decided to go to Miharu instead. Apparently this happened to my partner the last time he came, too.
Am I trying to get her fired? Maybe. But this really is a management issue. Train better or you will lose business. And there was no line tonight to say she was busy. That back counter better be sparkling!
