I love their cheesesteak sandwiches. I even measured it for anyone reading this comment to take notes on and utilize. There will always be exceptions, but I order the mushroom cheesesteak with nothing but the mushrooms, meat, and cheese on it. Based on that, my measurements yielded a sandwich exactly 8-8.5 inches long, 2 inches tall, and 2.7-3.0 inches wide. I also tend to order a small fries, but I don't know how to measure those for a container to hold them separately. I do hope that this information is useful for anyone looking to order a cheesesteak sandwich from here, and carry it in a container that will allow it to travel better.

Always heard good reviews about this place. Decided to try it myself and it lived up to the hype. Food is good, nice and hot and service is great. The dinning area has never been full whenever I’ve stopped by too

Food - American diner breakfast, specialty in cheesesteak and hoagies. Does sandwiches and hoagies the traditional way, and they don't skimp on ingredients. Consistently good breakfast - best thing when coming into the morning is a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Always starts my morning right. I've been a couple of times for a quick bite for lunch. Food was still hot when I brought it back to my desk and appreciated the quick turn around!Service - omg how friendly can you be. Everyone is very nice and always asks how I'm doing. I appreciate their suggestions and I love that everything is made to order. Meaning, if I worded a cheese steak, they don't start till they press the button. Thanks everyone for making my morning bright. Ambiance - it's casual, it's nice if you need a quiet moment to yourself. There's plenty of tables to bring a group, but it's the perfect place for a quick catch-up over coffee or a nice meal

It is a great place in downtown Oakland. It is very good, clean, and well priced for a quick easy lunch. I eat there at least once a week. I love their original Philly cheese steak and often eat the hamburger. They have an excellent breakfast as well.

Yes yes yes they are delicious and affordable priced. They're sandwich's are the bomb! Any day any day they put the care and live in the craft of making sandwiches. I had the Turkey burger not dried out but juicy nice toppings oh m geee! Delicious goodness all in my mouth! I love IB Hoagies

First time, ordered a Mushroom Cheesesteak with everything and a side of onion rings and soda $21.12The cheesesteak was really good (4 Stars), I'm glad I navigated the sketchy neighborhood. If it wasn't good, not sure it would have been worth the risk (some homeless guys yells out "looking for dick" on the way.. Doh! ) Anyways back to the food...The bread was perfect size to hold everything, soft with the right among of chew. Everything means mustard mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions. In my book that is a cheesesteak hoagie, thus the name of the place. The veggies were fresh and plenty of steak, grilled onions and mushrooms. Only wished they had pickled hot peppers, like my favorite Cheesesteak Shop. Onion Rings (4 stars), beer battered, fried golden brown, served with Ranch. If the Ranch was better quality, the onion rings would be 5 stars. The Ranch was a little thin and not much ranch tanginess.I'll be back to try more
