Like many place in this part of the strip - a totally understated gem. The coffee was excellent, the staff friendly, super clean place where it’s pleasant to sit.I just wish the advertising was more prominent. It took me too long to find.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes - elevator behind their second door

5 stars all around! This is my family’s go to spot neighborhood spot for coffee and delicious food. Semi and her family are so kind and welcoming to all. I can’t wait for their expansion!

Small but cozy spot. I had one of the best breakfasts, and the service was great.

Semi and team are delightful and stopping by for coffee and bites is always a treat. Don't skip on the food, it's all delicious!Vegetarian options: The Eritrean specials are amazing!Wheelchair accessibility: there are a few steps down into the cafe and no ramp, but staff are very helpful and would probably bring orders out for pickup. There is also sidewalk seating to avoid the steps.

This place feels very special and intentionally welcoming and warm. Great spot for those looking for community, connection, and good energy. Their cappuccino was solid and the prosciutto toast was very well seasoned and so delicious! Very excited to come back for more.

A cute little place where you can get a coffee or a small lunch. There’s space to sit down inside. I had a bagel with salmon, I liked it and would recommend.

The coffee here was pretty good. It's an interesting vibe, which resembles a street market scene more than a coffee shop. The owner seems to have regular and people are having loud conversations, literally shouting across the small cafe. No one seems to care if they are being disrespectful to others. That said, the owner seemed very nice. But maybe more suited to run a dive bar than a cafe.If you want a loud street scene, this is your place, but if you want to get any reading done or just have a quiet cup of coffee. Look elsewhere.

my coffee was good, but the servers were rude and defensive about NOT HAVING WIFI. The lighting is also too dim to do any work. The seating was very limited, and people were talking loudly. Disappointing that this local coffee shop is being managed so poorly.

The coffee was well priced. The lighting is a little low, but it was cozy. My husband and I got one drink to share and enjoyed it.The barista wouldn't give me the WiFi PW because I didn't pay, but gave the password to my husband and specified not to give it to me haha. While I've never encountered this policy, it's not a huge deal on its own. However, the barista was a little rude and told us that this was a family business and they couldn't have people sitting on the WiFi all day without paying? Me and my husband were pretty taken aback because I don't think asking for the WiFi is unusual.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for something that was open before 8:30AM and I"m so glad we did. We stuck to basic espresso drinks and got cappuccinos which were fantastic but after reading all of these reviews, I'm definitely going to trie some of their other specialty drinks. Their food is phenomenal. I forget the name but we had the fava beans with egg dish and it was incredibly flavorful. The vibe is great - it's so cute and cozy and the people working at the register are so kind. I'll definitely be back!

The most unwelcoming coffee shop I've ever stepped foot in. Not sure why anyone would come back here.

This is my favorite cafe in Oakland. I work nearby and it's the perfect spot to grab a quick and yummy lunch or coffee. The energy in here is always friendly and welcoming and the food is always good. I added a pic of my favorite order, I like to get the salad with egg and tuna and it comes with some warm toast on the side. I usually get it to-go so I can eat it at work. The portion size is really big. I also really love the avocado brot! 10/10

My favorite cafe in the Bay Area (and I'm from Seattle)! The coffee is to die for (get an Asmarino, their special Eritrean coffee drink). And please do your palate, heart, and spirit a favor and have their Habesha Foul (Eritrean spices, Fava beans, Hard boiled egg, tomato, pepper and goat cheese). The atmosphere is very welcoming (and there is wifi and outlets). There is ample comfortable space to take a moment and enjoy the company of your family and friends. And while you're at it, say hi to Semret; she the owner and her spirit and heart shine through everything the cafe does. In fact, I am convinced you can find your home away from home here. Ever since 2020, finding community doesn't feel the same. It's been hard. Real talk. And, if you feel the same way, come visit Im Moment. Find your people while delighting your tastebuds.
