Food was great, RAMEN and Gyoza amazing. 1 complaint: Miso Pork Ramen came with exactly 3 tiny slivers of pork. Great broth/ noodles. Busy, louder place, great staff, good service

Unfortunately this wasnt what I had hoped it would be. The ramen was fine for flavor i got the pork belly. The service was so so. They came by fast enough but it felt as though the guy wasnt really listening. And then some food had been forgotten. I probably wont comeback. I really like the location though.
Kid-friendliness: I brought my kid and the space was pretty good for that.

Got a plate of the pork gyoza, beautifully thin wrapper with delicious juicy filling! The ramen bowl however was pretty average in taste, not great but not bad. I had higher expectations, and it was flavorful but left wanting more. Good portion size, fairly rich broth, would have loved a whole egg instead of a half and a bit more of a kick to the broth.

Excellent food and service. So glad we went for the American Wagyu Tataki special, as it was a burst of amazing flavors.

This place is awesome! The Ramen and karaage chicken are awesome and so are the cocktails! They have a full bar, friendly staff, and a cool atmosphere too!

One of the best restaurants in Downtown Oakland and local secrets for best ramen in the Bay. Marufuku is typically much busier so you might have to wait, this place is right next to the Fox so great place to eat before a show. Appetizers are all solid too not overpriced at all.

In a rough part of town but the server herself and the restaurant are very nice. The restaurant is probably safer on the weekdays when there are more people in downtown Oakland. I tried the hamachi appetizer and that had a light yuzu dressing with microgreens. The salmon bowl 3 ways was a filling meal with a fresh salad on top. Thanks for making our birthday surprise fun and being so accommodating with the cake , plates and candles! This had a large room in the back that could probably hold 20-30 people if you need to hold an event. Close to the ice skating rink - of Olympic medalist, Kristy Yamaguichi fame.
Parking: This was a Sunday. Parking was free on the streets on the weekend but honestly Oakland is not doing well. Best to probably come on a weekday.
