Good but not amazing. Kind of bland compared to other ramens I've had. Chashu was good.

Disappointed in the amount of broth (pint, not full) for the amount of noddles. I got carry out miso pork ramen. Won’t be returning, Marufuku is a much better option, more flavorful broths and larger portions.

This is one of our go-to (top 3) spots in this area, and we absolutely love the Ramen, Tapanaki chicken (yum), and specials. The staff is fabulous, has no issue w/parking, and the area Itani Ramen is in has lively nightlife on weekends.

Your quest for ramen is over. Itani is the best ramen spot hands down. I have tried countless other places across the bay and everytime I find myself saying it's not as good as Itani. I have yet to be disappointed with any item on there menu. Slurp up my friends, it doesn't get better than this.

Great food and staff! Love the fried Gyoza and veggie miso ramen. Good spot to go to before a show at the fox theater:)

Service: The owner needs to hire more help. There was only 1 server running around.Food: Food is ok, nothing exceptional.Customers would have ordered dessert and more drinks but no service.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Ramen is served with egg even though egg is not mentioned in its ingredients.

It was pretty yummy! Stopped here before going to a show nearby. We had enough leftovers for the next day!

Miso pork ramen was tasty with an added bonus for chewy noodles. Staff is friendly and they have a good sized dining area. I still like Sobo Ramen more, but this spot is pretty good too.

A quite authentic ramen joint in downtown Oakland. It comes really close to being fabulous but over time has catered to more Americanization of Japanese ramen.Everything feels authentic to the 85% mark but then something gives away the compromise. The gyoza was great until they sprinkled ginger and mayo on top. The ox tail ramen lacked a bit of depth. And not sure where they got their kimchi from but certainly unpassable by Korean standards. However, it does hold together for a decent meal in a space with modern, industrial vibe. The concept of Itanis is great. I just wouldn't return as a seeker of pure-bred ramen.Parking: There really isn't any parking, even difficult on the street. You're better off parking at a paid lot in downtown.
