The ratio of meat to veggies was almost criminal. I got the broccoli chicken and they layered a thin layer of protein over tons of broccoli. It was 15% meat and 85% broccoli. Never again.

Jade’s Palace is a decent spot among Oakland’s Chinese eateries. It’s a simple takeout place with a massive menu and generous portions. I had the chicken fried rice and salted fish; both were pretty good. The atmosphere is brighter than many other places around. The staff could be friendlier, but overall, it’s a reliable spot if you’re in the mood for Chinese food.

Huge menu list, decent pricing and generous servings. Make this a go-to place for takeout for gatherings and groups. One thing to watch out for is if you're going to pay by credit card they will charge a fee, so if you can bring cash.
I am a fan of their beef chow fun and fish with vegetables. Some of their fits are a little on the salty side, but that's the only complaint I have ever had.
