Small shop with some seating inside and out (weather permitting). Nice variety of empanada flavors to choose from. Each one is baked with a crispy, flaky crust and a good portion of filling inside. They also sell frozen packages to take and bake.

every single bite was delicious!! my husband even went back to the counter to order more. not a single bad item on the menu and clearly made with love and care.
Consistently the worst service in town. I’ve been in his place 6 times but have only eaten here twice. Staff is consistently use and dismissive. Go to the ferry building for much better service and food

The cheese empanada was sauer, the meet one was OK, and the dulce de leche was water down beyond believe and had no taste to dulce the leche whatsoever.

Definitely the best empanadas in Oakland 💛 they have a very wide variety of flavors, I love the chorizo one, and the mushroom one is amazing too (they have vegan options too!). Don't forget to get some chimichurri on the side 👌🏽
They also have sweet empanadas, deliciously fresh alfajores and many coffee based drinks. You can also get something stronger though, as they also serve beer and wine.
Their service is super friendly and amicable, always fun to chat with them when getting an empanada. Do stop by to try them 🥟🩷

The empanadas are okay but shop owner is ridiculous. No discount if you order 1 or 100. If I order 100 of these for my office we should at least be able to cut a deal.
