Small shop with some seating inside and out (weather permitting). Nice variety of empanada flavors to choose from. Each one is baked with a crispy, flaky crust and a good portion of filling inside. They also sell frozen packages to take and bake.
Javis Empanadas are absolutely delicious! Every bite was worth the price. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Definitely the best empanadas in Oakland 💛 they have a very wide variety of flavors, I love the chorizo one, and the mushroom one is amazing too (they have vegan options too!). Don't forget to get some chimichurri on the side 👌🏽
They also have sweet empanadas, deliciously fresh alfajores and many coffee based drinks. You can also get something stronger though, as they also serve beer and wine.
