Jessica Lasky Catering & The Little Kitchen

Gretta, Lauren and team were truly incredible for our wedding in June in Piedmont. They kept excellent track of many details and went above and beyond on the day of to make things truly perfect. We had an Indian- Western fusion wedding and everyone commented on not only how incredible the food was (multiple guests said that the lamb was the best they’d ever had) but also how beautifully the food reflected both South Indian and California/Western cultures. We could not be happier with how it turned out. At every step of the way Gretta and Lauren were quick to respond, flexible, understanding, and creative, they and made the planning streamlined and easy. I highly recommend going with Jessica Lasky- it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

I wish I could give more than five stars. Food was important to us so we did 5 tastings before we landed on Jessica and her team for our wedding. Boy was it worth the quest. Every guest raved about the food--eight beautifully plated appetizers; scrumptious toasts accompanying a fresh salad; three delicious family style entrees; crisps and tiramisu jars, perfectly baked cookies, and milk shooters at the dessert bar; and a huge selection of signature cocktails. Jessica's team went above and beyond from the initial tasting, the menu selection, the table setting, the service, and the general execution. Just some examples: they brought us appetizers and cocktails by golf cart as we took photos at the ceremony site during the cocktail hour; helped sort and pour dozens of varied wines we provided from our cellar; created a custom veggie dish to accommodate all our vegetarians; baked--and then secretly plated just for the bridal party--a black forest groom's cake. In short, they did a phenomenal job every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough.

We used the JLC team for our wedding this Fall and they were beyond incredible!! We hosted 165 people at a family home, so there were plenty of quirks that the team had to work around-- cooking for a large group with a satellite kitchen, hosting cocktail hour at a barn on the backside of the property that required a long carry, etc. and they were beyond exceptional in every way. Everything from the menu creation, to the thoughtfulness in working with us to create our perfect specialty cocktails, to the professionalism and proficiency of the bar staff, to the gorgeous dinner service and late night chocolate chip cookies and was expertly executed, beautiful and delicious! We still have people telling us that it was not only the best wedding food they've ever eaten, but one of the most enjoyable meals they've ever had. We're beyond grateful for the attention to detail and care that the team put into our special day and I can't recommend working with the JLC team more!!

The easiest part of our event was working with the Jessica Lasky team. From first meeting to prep, day-of, and follow-up, we received TOP-quality professionalism, food beauty and taste, setup and strike from the whole team. They clearly all care about giving their best, and doing it with kindness, skill, and gracious hard work. While managing my company's jam-packed event, I did not once have to think about checking in with the team on any detail. They are a well-oiled machine of pros. This was an incredible gift!

The food at our wedding was the best meal I've *ever* had at a wedding thanks to Jessica Lasky and team. The meal, passed apps, and dessert bar were not only delicious, but completely beautiful, fresh, and California farm-to-table. We had so much fun designing the menu with them and they were incredible with interpreting feedback, then turning it into the most elaborate and delectable meal. Such a wonderful vendor - you have to hire them.

I attended a birthday party there last weekend. The facilities were okay, the waiters etc were very classy and friendly, the food was exceptional. I do wish they had had more than just two appetizers . I liked that they passed them around on trays. Very chic. Great cocktails.
