we like the restaurant menu choices. The only feedback that can improve if the chef can adjust the salty level of their dishes that would be perfect for us. Most or all of the foods we ordered very salty for our taste bud.

A friend and I had dinner on a quiet Wednesday night. From the minute we walked in to receiving our check our wait staff was most polite and accomodating. Her suggestions were on point, especially with the kanom krok vegan coconut cake appetizer. Food and service were excellent.

Service was good. Food are little spicy for medium spicy but taste good. I think it's better to go only 2 people because the portion of each dish is very small and menu selection is very limited. Also, they will change menu every once in a while. So we didn't get to eat what we want most.

I live in the Millsmont neighborhood and had heard great things about Jo's so we finally went to try it tonight. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. They were understaffed but the service was actually pretty good. The food; however, was so disappointing. We ordered the Lobster pad thai, the charcoal clay pot and jo's famous wings as an appetizer. I think the wings were the only thing i actually enjoyed. The pad thai was OK, but I've tried much better pad thais in other thai restaurants in the area. The dish that was almost not edible was the clay pot. The cook had put so much fish sauce that all you could taste was the fish sauce. All dishes were on the saltier side. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but there are much better alternatives in Oakland, and less pricey. I will not be going back.

Food was very overly seasoned. Two of the dishes we liked to try was not available. Very disappointed.

Service was great. EVERYONE was friendly and accommodating. Ambiance was a bit cold and like a diner. Cocktails were spectacular. I preferred “The Mango One.” Green curry with chicken was delicious; flavors on point, but I could do without the bone. Drunken Noodles also very tasty, but odd to have skinny noodles instead of classic fat noodles. Enjoyed the meal but unsure to return.

The food was good not great. Ordered the brisket drunken noodle, a wok charred cabbage and two Thai teas. The brisket overpowered the dish and the fried egg while tasty didn't warrant spending $6.5 for a single egg. The brisket while tender felt like it was added after the drunken noodles were cooked, tasting like a separate dish rather than finding balance and cohesion. The cabbage was excellent, the best of everything. The drinks were acceptable though probably should have tried one of their many mixed drinks. Loved the service and atmosphere though next time I'd probably try the lobster.

Outstanding as always! Better than ever though it's always consistently amazing! Adventurous menu, multi-layered flavors, beautiful presentations. Tasty original cocktails. Jo's is a must every time we're in the area!

We've been coming here for a while. The food is authentic Thai, Service is great in the ambience is amazing. Note that the corkage is $25 which is very fair. A perfect restaurant for a Friday night meal.

We had an amazing and very delicious meal last night. We sat outside on the patio. I think the noise level out there is more reasonable. Service was really a highlight of the evening. Kendall, who took care of our table, as well as one of the other waiters, were so gracious. This is my second time dining at Jo's and I do think they have a formula that is a total winner. I keep thinking about the drunken noodles with brisket such an incredible flavor.

From the moment we walked into this Thai fusion restaurant, we were blown away. The atmosphere had such a warm, homey feel. Everyone greeted us with big smiles and genuine friendliness. It immediately set the tone for a great night.

We honestly weren’t sure what to expect, but the food turned out to be surprisingly amazing. Every dish had incredible flavor without being overwhelming, and there was something on the menu for everyone. The cocktails were absolutely declious!

The service made the experience even better. Jack and TK were outstanding, attentive and kind. They made us feel truly taken care of.

And of course, the perfect ending: dessert. Our little daughter loved it so much that it might’ve been her favorite part of the night!

Overall, a fantastic spot we can’t wait to come back to. Highly recommend!

Food was awesome. But the only reason for me not giving a full 5 star review was the service. Seems like we were forgotten about and took a long time for food and drinks to reach the table. I ordered another round of drinks and it never came. We just asked for the check and left. So yes food was incredible, but staff was lacking a bit.
