Rather expensive sushi with indoor seating as well as a large backyard patio. The omakase selections (chefs choice) are great, go for that and savor it. The rest of the menu is pretty standard for the price. Service is ok, can be slow when it's busy - just be aggressive about waving down the server.
Parking: Park on side streets, but don't leave visible stuff in your car. I've seen a lot of "Oakland diamonds" on the street at times.

Very glad they ate open later than most places. Probably the food I picked but it wasn't very good...it was udon and a lesser known roll. Anyways, read the reviews and get what everyone is getting

The sushi here is beyond words. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh, skillfully sliced, and tasted as if it had just been caught. The nigiri was a personal favorite each bite was a perfect balance of tender fish and slightly warm, perfectly seasoned rice. The chef’s skill was evident in the precision of every dish. so yummy yummy in my tummy??

worst Japanese take out experience probably ever. I had Tempura combo and a special roll and both were really bad in their own way, cold and bland fried stuff and the roll was a mess with extra sweet sauce I didn't ask for that made it uneatable. All this packaged in a ton of plastic trash.

Ordered takeout, paid too much. The bluefin lovers roll came without fish on top. Im not sure what the negi toro mini don was but it wasnt what i ordered. Used to love this place. It has gone down hill.

My dine-in experience here has always been good, but never order takeout from here. Rolls were barely coherent, sort of mashed to one side of the box, and there was a random piece of saran wrap just mixed in with the mess. Do yourself a favor and don’t order takeout or delivery from here.
