And now permanently closed, for lease sign in window. Already miss the nice folks who run this place and their excellent food.

I unfortunately need to update my review after having my pho leftovers the next day. I think there is some major MSG usage in their dishes. My husband and I both felt super lethargic, fatigued, and thirsty after our KangNam takeout dinner the other night, but thought it might be due to other forces. Then I had the rest of my soup the next day for lunch and the exact same thing happened - I was basically useless after the meal because of how sleepy the soup made me. What's worse is how incredibly thirsty I was afterwards! I must've had at least 6 glasses of water post-meal. Yes, most soups can be quite salty, but I've never been this desperate for water after pho before. I really think it speaks to the quality of the pho. I really hope they're able to fix this.

This is probably our favorite pho place thus far in the area! We have only gotten to-go orders from here but this is one of the few pho restaurants where the pho to-go is almost as good as when you eat pho in the restaurant. We have tried pho with rare steak, brisket and both and we have enjoyed all of them. Also, we typically get the meat egg rolls,l as an appetizer and those travel well too - still crispy and crunchy on arrival. They give you all the toppings in a bag for to-go orders, including cilantro, which I don't always see at pho restaurants but I like to add it to my bowl. They also pre-mix the duck sauce and sriracha - yum! I'd recommend eating here, especially if your getting your pho to-go and want it to be (almost) as good at home! I can't say just as good because nothing is better than eating pho fresh in the restaurant.

I tried to support our local businesses during this covid19 shelter in place but please stop using MSG in your broth. Not only does MSG cause dehydration but it's just plain unhealthy for people to be consuming. I ordered the popular beef pho and pho ga along with the fresh spring rolls and I was disappointed on every level as was my family. The noodles were breaking off and not the bouncy noodles I generally get from a popular pho restaurant. I hope the owners listen to these constructive comments regarding not using MSG. Please stop. If you have to use MSG in your food to make it taste better, you're not a great restaurant. Plain and simple.

Ordered delivery and the meal arrived hot in under an hour! Ordered the pho ga (chicken), mi bo kho (beef with egg noodles), and pot stickers. Wicked impressed with both soups. Large portions, great flavor (I'm a stickler for broth, and theirs was top notch), and super fresh veggies/garnish. (Also very particular with mung beens, theirs met my snap-standard!) Their pot stickers were a bit pricey, but good flavor. Really appreciate their packaging for delivery - spill proof containers are a must for multiple soup orders!

Cheap for the area, decent quality.

Yes!!!! Pho Ga is the best! Warms my belly and soul. My wife got a Banh Mi sandwich and it was a bit skimpy on the meat, but overall ok.

severely overlooked. Don’t let the humble interior fool you, this is the best pho and bahn mi north of lake merritt
