Their hot dogs are so good. The place is old school but that is part of the charm. It is an old business that still serves good hot dogs 🌭.

The two older women are so cute and sweet. Only thing I was in line for 15 mins which isn’t bad cause it was packed and I let ppl cut me cause I didn’t know what I wanted. So while I was looking at the menu the smaller lady came from the back with like 10 hotdogs in her bare hands although she boiled them the lady who was at the register was taking money and also putting the condiments on the hotdogs like grabbing the onions tomatoes etc with her bare hands after touching the money. I felt so bad cause they were sweet I wanted to leave but I bought one anyway but gave it away. I can’t eat anyone’s food who doesn’t wear gloves! And touches everything in the store that’s so unsanitary! So no I don’t know how the hotdog taste! Not to mention the lady charged my bf 120 for one hotdog and it was supposed to be 12😭😭😭😭😭

Great service. Great hot dogs. Regulars frequent and are greeted upon entry . I had to wait 5 minutes for my hot dog and was given a free bag of chips.

First time at this location. It won’t be the last n

Hot dogs are pretty good. Cheese dog with pickle, mustard, and onion hits the spot every time. It is just in a crappy area and it is expensive. Costco hot dog is 1.62. but no pickle or cheese, Save yourself 9 dollars and deal with the disapointment of no pickle or cheese, Your waist and wallet will thank you for it.

Old school Oakland eatery, great dogs. Very nice people and it's more than beef hot dogs these days. Sad to say that the hours are short but that's the business. These days they are open 11:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The lady there looks upkept and her lack of professionalism is appalling! I asked about her wearing gloves and she got really offended. The other oakland location wear hair nets in addition to gloves so it's no excuse. Her fingers and fingernails disgust me on a soul level. She has claws and gnarly fingers. She handles money and food sometimes which is just unsanitary! They should be investigated ?

Can always count on the ladies at Kasper's to be straight and to the point. What do you want, how do you want it, here you Go! Then a smile and "have a great day!" Other customers there are friendly and diverse. True Oakland staple. I'll be sad when they close.

Parking: Lots of parking surrounding building.

A REAL HotDog from an original hot dog place. First time visiting this location and I was not disappointed, nor have I ever been at the multiple locations I have visited before.Had the Kaspars with mustard relish onions and kraut. What else?

My parents, 90 years ago, patronized this Kasper's Hot Dog location when only in their late teens. Here I am, at 75, still eating here when I need a quick "dog fix". I wish the steamed buns were warmer the day I bought my Kasper's cheese dog and they would use a better grade of sharpe cheddar cheese. Though I said, "hold the relish" (which they did) I guess I needed to mention add onion slices (as now they toss in a few chopped onions and call it a day). Spicy mustard is no longer an option, just yellow
