A known-quantity. If you're eating KFC, you know exactly why you're eating KFC. Nobody sets out to get something else and says, “ya know, I could kill some KFC right now.†Nope.
The $5 fill up box is advertised with an extra $0.99 on it... The sign from corporate has 99 stickers next to the $5. You can't substitute you mashed potatoes for wedges for free like other locations, the drinks are all watered down. No bathrooms. The good thing is that the food was hot and fresh!

Great customer service! No drive-thru. Went in on the way to an obligation, they had no green beans (we would have had to wait 20 minutes for them), and no bowl to serve my Famous Bowl to go, so said I might not be able to get it. I asked if they could put it in a cup, they offered another container. In the car, I found that it was in it's proper container. Logistical inconveniences, but the workers were professional, polite and pleasant!

I was just passing through Lake Shore & was a little...hungry & the $5 Box Deals, on the advertisement on the window caught my eye; you got me KFC, the great atmosphere set the mood. Hadn't had KFC in a long time; maybe 4/5 years. The place was cozy, outdoor seating; on a great night like I had it would've been a great experience, however I ate inside. There was a lot of seating to choose from. There was tbe railing line where you waiting to make your order, than the bar stool like seating facing out, on a night like mine you can expect to be shoulder to shoulder with a stranger. My order did come speedy, like less than 4 min., the soda dispenser had an out of order paper taped to root beer (damn that sucked), the Cola I tried was watered down, but redemption came with Orange Soda. Taste great when you haven't had soda in ages. Loved my $5 Box Combo: Legs, Thigh, Sweet Cornbread, Mashed Potatoes, Chocolate Chip Cookie, with a Medium Soda. Great when on a budget, filling, just as good as Popeyes, but for a different reason; the Chicken, not as greasy; so healthier? When it's all done you can walk the Lake a bit & burn some of it off. All around good experience, hole in the wall for a KFC; those are hard to come by now; WOW..., it's a cozy atmosphere. People behind the Register & Cooking are friendly, along with the Security Guard. Seems kinda odd when considering it's next to a Lane Splitter, Merritt Bakery (which serves Southern Style Ribs), Wing Stop, 2 Chinese Reataurants, a Thai, 2 Japanese Restaurant,Dominoes, several Bars with Bar food (probably have Wings), if you want something filling, good..., & you're on a budget & don't want MacDonalds or BK I recommend this location on Lake Shore.

employee had bad cold and handled food. Chicken seriously overcooked, small pieces and heavily salted. They need to pay attentioon to what they are doing. Not up to par in something easy to do

Very slow and understaff which results in poor customer service. There's only one employee who makes the place vibrant!imspired me to be a better me!..other than that, I'm glad I went vegitarian. I won't be returning unless it's to pickup food for family
