My latte was amazing !! Only bummer is they charged me extra for oat milk I didn’t ask for then the person ringing me up gave me silence & just stared at me when I mentioned if I could just have regular milk. The barista was attentive & quick to only add regular milk however. I think they are still training so it was hopefully an accident but I would not have gotten the latte if I knew it was gonna be $8 forced oat milk type situation. Otherwise , I love going here :)!

It's not dog-friendly so not sure why Google is saying so.

Great food and coffee. A good stop for a quick, easy bite. Staff are friendly, direct, and warm.

Ambiance is good for a quick stop. Very simple and straightforward.

The atmosphere, however, felt chilly. Our car had broken down in the rain, so we need a place to duck in with our dog and sort out next steps. We were told that we couldn’t stay with our dog - which makes good sense. The barista offered us a cup of whipped cream for our pup, which was sweet. We asked to wait by the door, as it was rainy and windy outside. Staff agreed, but shortly after we were asked to wait outside. Our dog had barked 🤦🏾‍♀️

This place is a cute but tight squeeze - not much coverage outside from the rain and wind.

Honestly, I understand about not allowing pups inside - it’s code requirements, after all. The part that was difficult for me was the mixed messaging - we had originally ordered the drinks to dine in, and it seemed like it wasn’t an issue. Then, we were asked to move, so we went by the door to stay out of the rain. Then we were asked to go outside. I would have appreciated clarity from the start, and some grace with the heavy storm.

For context, Bennet is 11 years old, small-medium (25lbs), and our car broke down on the way to a veterinary appointment. We didn’t need much - just a few minutes to wait for our Lyft to arrive.

All in all, stop here with a pet if you’re on a walk and it’s a sunny day where you can get your drink & treat and keep walking. Don’t plan to linger with your pet.

I have been a regular customer at this coffee shop for two years and today received the worst customer service I have ever had here. The register person knew nothing about the menu items and seems very spaced out. The coffee was lukewarm and when I asked for a warm-up, I was told no and rudely told I would have to wait four minutes for a new pot. when I commented to my companion, not the staff!! that I felt like I was in the twilight zone I was then attacked by someone I think is in management and told there are two other coffee shops I’m welcome to go to if I don’t like the service here. I managed a coffee shop for over 10 years and in my experience, this is not the way to build customer loyalty or community. I wasn’t even speaking to that person nor asking for their feedback about where to buy my coffee. There was no attempt to understand what I really needed and it was definitely met with contempt for asking for something after having paid $20 for drinks and a sandwich.
Not sure what the issue was, but I will be sharing this experience on all social media platforms, as well as Google and Yelp.
Oh and also trying the other 2 options she recommended

I used to have beef with this place but the last 18 months or so I am loving the staff! A better world is possible 🌱🤗

Coffee and food is always good. Love the people except one of the person (long straight brown hair, tall, white, and always wears a mask). My partner and I are deaf and our primary language is ASL. But we will meet hearing people halfway and use our voice to communicate. HOWEVER, this masked person never meets us halfway back and constantly talks with their mask on. Never willing to write down what they’re saying. Their ignorance is very rude and insulting.
I avoid the place if they’re the one working the front. Plus, their barista skills could use a lot of improvement.

The other workers are great and very accommodating. Especially Blue ?! Who learned sign language in high school and is breaking off the rust to demolish our communication barrier. ??

Nice people but seemed mad that I wanted a breakfast sandwich, which I understand because I also hate my job.

Need a breakfast sandwich and a slammin' cup of coffee? Look no further. Their sandwiches and pastries are excellent, the tunes are banging, and they are 110% LGBTQIA BIPOC BLM ACAB friendly. They are also right on Mandela near the West Grand highway exits, great on the go. And they're even open on the weekends. Ordering online for pickup is also super easy, I recommend it. FYI They don't know I'm writing this, I am not a plant or a bot or anything greasy like that, this is just my neighborhood cafe and I love the place.

Great little quick stop for coffee, had some before boarding my Flixbus, it was super fast and friendly service. Food was a bit out my taste buds, but it's not bad.

For a coffee shop, the atmosphere was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The two younger employees there were playing with skate toys when we walked in around 3 pm. They didn’t wash their hands before preparing our order and were kind of dismissive..I don’t think we will be back :( We threw out the coffee (which tasted burnt) and went to proyecto coffee 2 mins away which had much friendlier service and drinks.
