Upon entering this establishment I was immediately met with welcoming warm smiles and teethy laughter. The well designed menu included large font allowing for legibility and ease. The formatting allowed for exciting things to be highlighted like the cold black beans and crisp red cider. Kitava offers really fresh and clean ingredients on their menu. That being said, flavors are kinda bland and the prices are kind of up there for what you get. I got the tuna poke bowl, and a hibiscus refresher, both were about a 6.5/10 in terms of taste, nothing crazy. The inside of the place is really cute though, and would come back on “work from home” days —not sure about wifi capabilities.

Update: management reached out about my experience and took the time to make things right. My issue was with service, not the actual food or ambience of the restaurant. Kudos to Bryan at Kitava for amending the experience. I had gone back after this experience and it was much better, staff were super friendly and food came out promptly!
