We order take-out almost weekly from Koryo, a nice way to end the week. Really love the fish, the size of the Nigiri is wonderful, but the freshness is one of the best in the Oakland/Berkeley area. The team in the Oakland store are always happy, nice and accommodating. Our only gripe is the miso soup, not much to it. We normally make our own (Miso, Dashi, Tofu, scallions), so you’d think Koryo would be able to do better than me, but not the case. Otherwise our weekly Friday...
We have been coming here for 20 years, and we both dine in and take out. It's small, kid-friendly, and feels intimate.
The sushi is always fresh, and the rolls and nigiri are generously portioned. This is one of our family's go-to sushi spots!

Man do I love this place. Late night sushi that is always delicious. Hadn't been back here in a while but so happy that I was able to grab some sushi before a show at Eli's. Can't recommend highly enough!
