I want to support a local black-owned business and write a positive review, but I’ve been here 4 times and there’s always something wrong with my order, they’re out of menu items, or just incredibly slow to get orders out even when the place is nearly empty. I can live with that, however, the last time I was there the meat was undercooked, and the fries were so salty that they were just plain inedible. This restaurant is badly run and it just gets worse. I feel bad for the great staff that works there.

Omg the chicken and fries here are SO GOOD! Chicken is breaded perfectly and the fries are so yummy. I got the chicken tenders and they were HUGE (pause) only complain would be that I ordered them spicy and they were not. If you like to dip, order extra sauce!! Can’t wait to go back!!

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The service was impeccable. The cashier was so patient and nice to us. He had a great smile and personality.Food was incredible. Flavor was well-balanced. Meat was juicy. It was fried to perfection. Maybe a little bit greasy, but way less greasy than other fried chicken places around Oakland/Emeryville.Portion size was huge. Definitely get the sweet tea too. They don't mess around with food or flavor.Parking: Parking can be hard to find if you come at peak hours ( lunch /dinner)
