So glad to see this area busy. I had a Barbacoa taco and Chicken - Chili Verde Tamale. Both were excellent. Matt says if you find yourself in Old Town Oakland, treat yourself to amazing regional Mexican food. And when you are done there are tasty cupcakes in the stall next door

I come here 2-3 a week because it’s close to work & also because I’m addicted. This is the best family owned Mexican restaurant that so much more elevated in taste than most places you’ll find. Plenty of options to choose from and their ceviche is to die for. My personal favorite is the pork pineapple taco. I never come here without ordering at least one.

Amazing food and service. Everything tastes very fresh. I had the sangria tropical as well. It's one of the best and most refreshing cocktails I've had in a while. Definitely would go back.
