Let's start by acknowledging that much like Chipotle, La Salsa isn't authentic Mexican food. For what it is, it's decent food and happens to be located very close to me - very convenient. I came here for the happy hour special of $4 nachos. The portion is quite generous, more than enough to be an entree or for 2 people to split. I opted for no sour cream and had black beans rather than pinto. There were enough toppings that no chips went without. I'd definitely come back during happy hour, which is currently 2-3pm (as of June 8th 2021). Small window, but worth stopping by if you're in the area.

The food was average I was so hungry I was happy the only Mexican food place in downtown Oakland was there when I needed my comfort food.

This spot has good spot to eat outside. Thee food was fine to eat, but it wasn't great because the steak was hard like they over cook it, they gave to to much bean, very little of cheese and avocado, and the wrap was hard to eat. I got the grande burrito. They charge you extra to sub any meat, and it was not good that I only ate half of the burrito and threw chip and sauce away. Chip was over salty and sauce smell bad. don't go there anymore and avoid this place. I hope I don't get food poisoning. Bad and terrible burrito place

I choose a burito overstuffed and it looks like those burito from supermarket. Too smal, cold and poorly staffed.The staff was too busy with a big take out order.I paid almost 9 dolares on a burito.Don't do it to yourself.The bathrooms are clean.
