LAKESIDE LOUNGE IS A NICE SAFE SPOT TO CHILL ON A FRIDAY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. THIS SPOT IS NORMALLY PATRONIZED BY A MORE SEASONED CROWD AND NOT THE YOUNGSTERS WHICH MAKES IT SAFE. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE LADIES RESTROOM IS EXTRA SMALL THE OWNER REALLY NEEDS TO REMODEL THE LADIES RESTROOM. WE CALL IT A SAFE HOLE IN THE WALL WHERE YOU CAN HAVE FUN. SUNDAY IS BLUES NIGHT.
Although it's a small place, its a mature crowd 50 plus who knows how to party! Lots of dancing. Need more bar tenders due to the big crowd. The owner is available and play a roll with customer service! The Friday DJ, is good! Get their by 9-10, to get a sit. Food is served during parties or out doors.

Lakeside Lounge is a great little bar that has been in Oakland for decades! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming! The people are friendly and bartenders are fantastic! I am Piedpiperkj, and I perform at the Lakeside every third Wednesday of the month! The musicians with whom I work, ar Lorenzo Hawkins and Ranzel Merritt. There is also Live blues band every Sunday night, and it is always LIT! There are activities happening Wednesday thru Sunday, something for everyone!
