Chill bar with lower and upper seating. Pro tip: go sit in the upper seating for a more private experience.

Did not particularly felt welcome. I ordered a drink that seemed a pain to prepare. Lively atmosphere. May work better for you!

Cutest bar I’ve ever been to! Love this vibes at this place! From the decorations with a duck theme, to the duck drinks and even staff all was 10 out of 10 amazing experience! I think this place is perfect for a night out with friends or a date night! Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend!

The bartender was fantastic. I think her name is Cindy. I had the “Flight to Oaxaca”. The mezcal was great! Highly recommend stopping by and hanging out a bit.

I ordered a “Paper Plane” and it came with a duckie for garnish! It was both delicious and delightful. There ceiling has lots of open bird cages decorated with lifelike birds and the bar is called Little Bird, but one rarely expects this level of commitment to the bit. Because of the bird in my drink, I struck up some conversations with locals there for happy hour, even though I’m kind of shy with people I don’t know. Maybe I’m making too much of a little touch, but I think a purpose of a bar is to socialize and if they create an atmosphere thar helps you do that, it should be considered. Also very near BART and my office so I’ll certainly by agitating my coworkers to make this our regular.

Prices here are what I’ve come to expect for cocktails—not excessive but not inexpensive. Then again, they are delicious and you might get a duckie!

This bar is quite clean and fairly aesthetically pleasing with a decent drink menu. Not too too expensive either. It doesn't quite have the same charm that Radio, the previous bar, did, but that was a classic Oakland dive bar. This definitely feels like its trying to cater to a bit of a fancier/more business crowd. The bartender was pleasant but seemee a little distracted. One thing I noticed was that the sounds of conversations echoed and overpowered the space even when not packed; likely due to some changes with the interior. Made it a little difficult to talk to the person right next to me. Yet, all in all, it was definitely a nice experience, and I'll likely go again someday!

Cool bar. They put ducks on all the drinks. Including wine. Duck themed I guess. It's charming and was the only thing open on memorial Day past 9pm. Stopped by for a late night drink. Service was great and most of all the music choice was sick.

Radio was a great dive, may it RIP. While we can mourn the loss of great bars like it, it’s worth acknowledging how difficult it is to keep a bar afloat, especially post-covid. And equally worth celebrating when bars get replaced by bars rather than by other bullshit businesses or nothing at all. I hope Little Bird will live up to the Radio legacy and also carve out a new niche for itself in an area so ripe for a shotgun dive. I have nothing but good things to say about the friendly (but not overbearing) bartenders and drinks. Beer and shot happy hour special is the perfect way to start a debaucherous Oakland evening.

We visited Little Bird early on a Friday eve. Cocktails were inventive and yummy! Boss Hogg and Little Oaxaca were standouts. Bartender was funny and friendly. Fun place to land.
