I've walked past this place countless times, and never really considered it as there are a number of closer sandwich delis to me. Based on the location and comments from the owner, the primary clientele are high school students, with local office workers.To be honest, there are better sandwich spots in the area, but I do appreciate the price point here. This is a hidden gem in Oakland. Really great sandwiches and an even better value! There were also tons of snack and drink options for cheap prices. Definitely a must-try for breakfast or lunch.
This place is a gem and Mr. Charles is the nicest and friendliest person I've met in a while. I had the tuna with avocado and it was AMAZING. His prices are very reasonable for the area and the options are fantastic. Definitely my new go to sandwich place when in the area.
