Portions were very small for the price and the prawns were really small. Fish was floating in grease in the tray. Cake was good.

A nice little place to get a quick order of catfish nuggets and fries. Not super greasy.

I paid $16.95 for 5 small pieces of fried fish and a ton of frozen French fries? Never again. Service was great...young man working counter should get a raise.

I loved this food. Drove all the way from San Leandro to get food. It' was saved in 'must try' list now gonna be in my top favorites. I got catfish and snapper 2+2 fish. Yummy. The potato salad as my side. They have a plethora of dessert as well as beverages. Not a real classy place to sit and dine in but that options available for those who choose to done in.

Tasty Snapper and party wings! This was from the Telegraph store is where l ordered a Fish/Chicken combination. It came with one side. Which was to be a potato salad with a side order of fries. No potato salad. It's always short when you picking up an order and on the run.

I have the catfish and substitute good rice for the uninspired fries. Reliable, tasty, freshly prepared. The service is pleasant and professional. A good choice.

The service is fine, the place is reasonably clean, the fish was delicious, light, and not greasy, and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint -- hence the 4 stars rather than 5 -- is that they would not provide us with water. I now understand (having researched it) that it is not actually a legal requirement in California that restaurants provide free tap water, and I realize that during the drought many restaurants would not provide provide it unless a customer requested it. (The drought in California is now officially over.) But I've never before eaten in a sit-down restaurant anywhere in the world (including the deserts of the Middle East) where you could not get water unless you paid for bottled water, which we had to do in this instance.

Greasy food; not worth the drive to get it.The service was good, it's in a strip mall. I wasn't impressed. I could've gone to an old Fish n chips.....

This fish is too good, my parents got me hooked. We get the prawns, sole, and snapper and they all have such a different but still distinct taste. Love it!!

Hi, Louisiana Fish and Chips was recommended, because our favorite fish store was closed on a Friday! The staff were very personable. The fish was absolutely delicious, but not as plentiful as I have come to expect for 1 serving and the price. However, I will return when my favorite fish place is closed.

On two occasions I went to Louisiana fish and Chips and ordered the regular catfish, with no spices and no salt because I’m a diabetic. And on both occasions they gave me salt and spices which in turn gives me heartburn. As a diabetic it’s important for restaurant establishments to get my order correctly because I would have to consume products such as an acid tablets that have a lot of sugar in them. I was disappointed in their service because I asked for a refund and one of the employees refuse to give me a refund. My experience is that the customer service is terrible and they don’t value the customers they don’t even care if you were diabetic and that I can die from eating food that is too rich in spices. My advice for anyone who wants to buy Cat Fish, I would rather spend my money at JJ’s seafood establishment in Oakland and throughout the bay area.

So disappointed! This place has seemingly gone through several different owners over the years, but always maintained it's standards. As an employee of one of the local businesses in that area, I had been eating there for years. It was close to the job and the food was great. Now retired and living an hours drive away, I still come here for fish. However, the prices have gone way up, and unfortunately the fish I received last week was indeed, skinny nugget like pieces, rendering the usual flaky catfish tasteless, but the fish coating was still the best. But hey, the food here has been so good over the years, that I'm going back this afternoon to give em another try. Figure everybody's entitled to an off day once.

I stopped by Louisiana Fish & Chips and purchased 2 large orders of catfish (which is suppose to be 10 pieces of fish in each order) before I left for home in the South Bay (55 miles away). When I got home the pieces of fish were not too much bigger than the size of catfish nuggets and they were heavily breaded so really they were pretty much the size of catfish nuggets without the breading. That is not even the worst part. The fish didn't have any flavor. and was not flaky like fish. At this point I wasn't even sure it was catfish. Even if I'm not fully satisfied I rarely write a bad review because I understand everything can't be perfect all the time. However, this review is very warranted because I spent almost $60 for food I don't believe was even worth $15. Moreover, I want others to not make the same mistake I made and not look at their food before leaving the restaurant. Had I looked at the food prior to leaving I would've requested a refund immediately. Even still the fish I ordered was thrown in the garbage and not eaten. It doesn't make sense to travel 55 miles to return it. Even though I couldn't return it I'm still contemplating requesting a refund through my credit card. I really feel taken advantage of by this restaurant. Not happy at all!
