Delicious food and drinks. The oysters are overpriced at $40 for 12, but the Nachos are completely delicious and worth getting.

Taco Tuesday is not a good value and mediocre on taste. Two tiny tacos with 6 tortilla chips for $13. Drinks were fine, service a bit out of it.

Low Bar, was a little mid. Got the fish tacos and was pretty underwhelmed for $16. The wings did look good though. Just a very pricey place!

There are gluten free options for people not allergic or celiac. If you are very sensitive don't dine here unless you are content with salad. The staff was five stars for transparency, and not sending me home with six weeks of agony. Really appreciate it.

I’ve been to the low bar a few times and haven’t been impressed yet. The service isn’t the best, which makes the experiences even more lackluster. From what I’ve heard, the place hasn’t been the same since the menu changed.

Food is outstanding. Best burger in Oakland! Such attention to detail, food and cocktail program.

Staff are quintessentially organized, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Want a wonderfully, laid back but luxurious experience? Come to Low Bar!

An aesthetically uninformed corner bar that seems designed to appeal to trendspotting Oaklanders who wouldn’t notice being parted from $40-$60. The interior feels like it used to be a diner, maybe one of the last vestiges of a place where a regular person could get a decent meal for cheap, now replaced by complex and introspective cocktails that cost $15. Seems like an affront to a true dive, where a revolting atmosphere might actually have some sort of backwards appeal. Three stars because those cocktails were admittedly very good, but personally I wouldn’t go back.

We took an out of town guest here for dinner and drinks on a Tuesday night around 8:30. The place was packed! We were drawn to Low Bar because of its cheeky website prose, and we were not let down. The vibe while noisy, was fun and vibrant. The staff was very laid back and perfectly attentive. They all seem to work together to ensure every customer is lacking nothing. They even asked a couple to relocate to fit our party of 3 (which they kindly did, thanks!). The cocktails were clever and tasty. The food though, OMG. The chicken albondiga sandwich had crispy, delicious meatballs, on a soft roll smothered with a very good, spicy tomato sauce. You pretty much have to knife n fork it. Fantastic. The pupusa with brisket (ordered by both of my companions) was also phenomenal. Rich, beefy, cheesy. Stellar. We hung around long enough for the place to clear out and for a new wave start to trickle in, so we had to try the fried yucca. The server made it clear that they were not "fries". They were in fact lovely little domes of (mashed?) fried yucca. Crispy outside, creamy smooth inside, served with a tasty aioli. The chicken nuggets were real breast meat chunks battered with rice flour and perfectly fried. One of the servers suggested we order the spicy version which we did. Delicious and not TOO spicy. We will definitely be back.

Before they got their new owner, they had maybe the best burger in Oakland. They changed their recipe and now it sucks.

Very very tasting and I like that the menu had a shot+beer option (and mod to upgrade the whiskey). The crew was super nice, but I just wish the qr menu could connect to gpay, but makes sense to bring my card next time. A great spot for an elevated meal!

Had brunch here last weekend, sooooooo delicious. Bloody Mary shots are genius. I had the breakfast hash and it was very tasty. Our server was great, will absolutely be back!

I had a large group (~11-12 people) who had an amazing night at Low Bar in the back room. It was super easy to make a reservation and they were able to accommodate us with short notice, only about 5 days of notice. Our group had an amazing time with caring service, great recommendations, and 10/10 food and drinks. It was the absolutely perfect night for our group’s occasion. Additionally, our group of somewhat chronically late people wasn’t done tricking in until about 8:50 - 9 and they were so accommodating about people showing up at various times. Thank you Low Bar!!!
