It's OK. The food is not terrible. Just...OK for the price and quantity. Service was fine and quick. I will say, they do a bait and switch. The price on the menu in store that they provide IS NOT the price rung up at the register. That price is higher. Disappointing business practice. Also, I bought water from there at an insanely high price but that's my fault - I could have walked a few steps over to the bagel shop and bought it for half the price.

This place is disguised as "Mezza Brunch&Lunch" on Uber Eats...so beware! Order a veggie breakfast croissant, frappe, brownie, and dipped chocolate chip cookie for the crew. What we received was a small beat up croissant with spinach, egg, and american cheese, x2 white maca chip cookies, x1 oatmeal raisin cookie, a slice of unknown chocolate cheesecake(?), and a frappe (the only saving grace). Despite it not being what we ordered, had the random hodge podge of deserts been good I wouldn't be in this review section rn...but no they were absolutely terrible. I could taste freezer/fridge on the mystery cake. 10/10 would NEVER recommend!

The food here is excellent, tasty, and somewhat affordable. Lamb, shawarma, and falafel are good. Service is so so. Some tables inside and outside. The TV's displaying the menu is terrible. You cannot read a thing.

My new go to spot for Mediterranean lunch when I’m working on downtown Oakland. It’s a simple, delicious, filling meal. And the staff are pretty friendly.

My review is only for the service because I haven’t tried the food itself. It’s sad to write a comment that is not nice, but I have to.When we entered the restaurant we asked if it’s Halal. The guy(Another employee)asked the lady if it’s Halal. First she didn’t answer then the guy asked again and she replied very unprofessional and mean. It wasn’t something that you expected from a restaurant employees. We just left the restaurant and didn’t say anything. That’s why I only rate the service. I wish we had the chance to rate the food too.

I drop in to Marhabah Cafe whenever I'm in downtown Oakland. The food here tastes great. I've tried a few of their sandwiches and one of their plates and have been pretty happy with everything. Their falafel and hummus are top notch, and the staff are all friendly. Pictured is the chicken pesto panini because it's the only thing ai remembered to take a photo of.Otherwise, make sure you try their Arabic / Turkish coffee. I crave that pretty consistently and this is one of the few places who make it well.

Mohamed makes his own baklava. It's delicious as is the chicken shawarma wrap. Seriously one of my favorite spots in Town. Can't go wrong with this family run joint
