Surprised by the rather high ratings here. Pretty meh food, but large portions :/ samosa Chaat came drowned in a gravy-type sauce so the samosas were mush, there were unevenly cut raw onions on top that threw off the flavor of everything. Biryani was really one note with tough chunks of chicken.

Delicious flavors! Food made with care. Great service too! Will definitely be back.
Delicious!
Hole in the wall with delicious food! Today we had saag with potatoes (medium spicy was SO tasty) and vegetable korma with vegetable dumplings and sesame naan. Big fan of the sesame naan! Our usual order is bindi (okra) and lamb vindaloo, and veggie samosas - all of which we consistently love. My husband also got the cumin-spiced lemonade but thought it was a bit salty.
Craving Indian food mid-week, I decided to try Marigold. Very no-nonsense interior. The food was spot-on! The lamb in the Rogan Josh was tender and juicy. The garlic naan was flavorful and flully - it alone is worth the trip. Generous portion sizes. A bonus is that they have parking spots right out front. For desserts I would recommend gulab jamun , and then popping across the street to Curbside Creamery for some ice cream.
Had a lovely low key date here with my fiancée. No line and the food and service were amazing - one of the best garlic naans I have ever had!
You know the place is PEAK when the place looks as simple as possible. The Food is GOD-LIKE. Had me ordering extra rice for that curry cause it was so good. EASIST 5 STAR. Would be great if the first bowl of extra rice was free but I see the hustle.
Really tasty food, would be here a lot if it weren't so expensive

Our chicken tikka masala was a very unusual color (you can see it in the picture). It tasted cheesy rather than tomato based and was so rich you could eat more than a few bites without getting a stomach ache.
i was order paneer tika.. so dirty they not cook properly.. taste is not good🤮🤮
Had a delicious dinner with a friend! The food was excellent and a good value. Also the naan was perfect and fluffy (which I've been having trouble finding in the East Bay recently). Our server was also very attentive and kind. Will definitely go back sometime
My husband is Indian and we have tried all the Indian places in oakland. This is our favorite! We had aloo tiki and veg korma with veg dumplings. It was all delicious. Can’t wait to go back
