Probably my favorite food-related shopping location in Oakland. A little pricier but the quality is definitely worth it, be it for the sea food, the regular groceries, the bakery, etc... There's even a Highwire Coffee which is always reliable for good coffee!
Every morning I see crews hand pick, peel off layers of husk on the corn, wash and stack fruits and vegetables clean and disinfect displays, bake fresh breads and pastries, i love this place!!! TOP NOTCH QUALITY!!!
Same great place. They are well set up for distancing. Made me feel more normal shopping there. No lines inside...you wait outside to maintain inside count. They were not sold out of Acme at 1pm on a Saturday, so that was an improvement. It was a pleasure.
